This place is just as it’s referred to “the best kept secret in Newcastle”. Food here is exceptionally good, have never had a bad meal here and always great service from the wonderful staff. Hard to find. Spot that can pour a Guinness these days. Not here though. Often I drive 2 towns over just to visit here for a meal and a pint. Best wings, Shepard pie, Parmesan chicken. And so on. I highly recommend this spot!

Lovely pub with a great outdoor patio. My first visit the other day and I thought it was really nice. All food was of a good quality and tasted fresh and well cooked. I had the mushroom and Swiss burger and it was superb. My wife tried the bean burger and that was also good. I’ll definitely visit again when in the area.

Stumbled upon The Old Newcastle House as we were driving through Newcastle. The weather was great and they have outdoor and indoor seating. The selection of beers and cocktails was great. We have the appetizer sampler as a meal which was enough for two men. Wonderful place and will return if in the area.

This place is cute as a button and the food is delicious. The patio is lovely and while the menu is on the smaller every thing on it is splendid. The servers were all great and it's just an overall gorgeous spot

My son and I had lunch on the patio there today and the service and food was amazing. The Old Newcastle House Taps and Grill never disappoints!! My son had the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl from the New Summer Menu and I had my go to favourite a Buffalo Chicken Wrap in a pineapple curry sauce . Both were delicious. I will be back next week with friends, and my son and I will be back again soon. I am so glad you survived the pandemic, the Village of Newcastle would not be the same without you!

Amazing service. Went last night with my best friend, the spin art dip is fantastic!!! Spoke to Tanya on the phone, told her how impressed I was with Her reviews and once I was seated she made the time to come to my table and thank me for the compliment even though she wasn't my server. So good I made a second reservation for tonight withy fiance.
