Please take initiative.. Dear Subway Manger , I’m writing to express my deep frustration and concern about the service I received at your 6 Harwood Ave S, Ajax, ON L1S 7L8 store on 30 december. I ’ve been a loyal Subway customer for over 5 years and have never encountered such unprofessional and threatening behavior in any establishment across Canada. During my visit, I simply asked the server to cut my sandwich again, as it was not properly cut the first time. Instead of addressing my request calmly, he became defensive, saying, "I cut it already," and then argued with me. When I tried to explain myself, he responded aggressively, “I’ve been making subs for 2 years. I don’t have time for this. You’re free to argue if you want.” At that point, in an act of defiance, he cut my sandwich again—but this time with his hand, showing his displeasure rather than using proper utensils. Things escalated when my wife asked for a receipt for proof of our purchase. At that moment, I was genuinely afraid to go again and ask him for the receipt, fearing that he might become physically aggressive toward me. His hostile attitude and body language made it clear that he was already upset, and I was worried that any further interaction might lead to a confrontation. This level of hostility and unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable, and I’m extremely disappointed. I’ve never felt unsafe or disrespected in any other restaurant or business across Canada, and I never expected such behavior from Subway. I hope this matter is addressed as soon as possible, as no customer should have to feel threatened or disrespected when making a simple request. Sincerely, Gagan Soni

I visited here today and there was a guy in evening shift who didn’t even looked at me for the order he was totally ignoring me. It was the worst subway I’ve ever visited.

I ordered a foot long Tuna sandwich. After taking the first bite, my instinct was that tuna was not good. Ignored that and completed the sandwich. I got severe food poisoning since then. This is not acceptable. Paid $12.55 for the sandwich and then got sick. I would never go to this location again. I should have heeded to other people's comments. The section where all the meats are is hidden behind advertisements; people cannot even see if the containers where all meats are kept are clean or not.

I visited this Subway today, and my experience was really bad. The lady who served me was incredibly rude, making me feel unwelcome and rushed. She barely told me the price and told me to see the board and acted as if my questions were an inconvenience. Customer service should be a priority, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. She was least interested in serving me. I’m giving 1 star because I expect a friendly, respectful interaction, especially in a place I frequent visit. Disappointing experience overall.

I went to this location couple of weeks ago and the person who took the order was throwing attitude in unnecessary way. Would never recommend someone to this location at all. Reasons: 1. The way he explained that they don’t have GRILL option was rude. I asked why you don’t have grill, he said “ITS OWNERS CHOICE” on a rude note, this could have been explained in a smooth note too. 2. Both the Sub’s I took were wrapped in poorly manner that it was so hard to eat. I was eating veggies and bread seperately.

Ordering and the whole process for my food went fine. It was until I was 3 bites into my pizza sub I found a hair in one of the workers there. I felt very disgusted and spat out the food once I saw it and lost my appetite. I’ve never encountered something like this in my life until yesterday.

This location was in Ajax. The parking was great even with handicap spots. Staff were friendly and approachable. The premises were clean and tidy. The food and drinks were great.
