Amazing South Indian food! Authentic and fresh. Food quality is very good. Vignesh is a great host. We are very glad that the restaurant is in Burlington. Wishing them loads of success and would recommend this place to anyone who loves South Indian cuisine! Filter coffee at its best! Feels like home 😁😍

Not recommended for dine in, the food was good but we'd get takeout next time. This really isn't a dine in spot: there were only three tables in the whole restaurant (maximum seating for about 12), some of the chairs still had packaging (tape and foam) on them, the glasses had sticky spots from where stickers had been peeled off, the tables weren't wiped down from the last customers and the cutlery was takeout plastic. Recommended: podi masala dosa

Really had amazing food, the first time we visited this place with 2 families on Thursday although they had a big order from us the food did not take time, the taste and the quality was awesome. Also I had once ordered a take out had really good experience in terms of packing, taste and the food was fresh too. I would really recommend this restaurant to those who really like South Indian food around Halton region.

Authentic culinary experience, flavourful chutneys, mini tiffin is a must try. Sambar had a bit of a sweet aftertaste for my pallet, maybe the chef prepared it with a lot of love and sweetness 😊 jokes apart, I found my go to South Indian restaurant in Burlington. All the best to the team!

Went with friends and family during Christmas eve. Very friendly and welcoming staff to begin with. Menu was full of mouth watering South Indian food items. We tried Gobi 65, Mushroom 65, Rava dosa, vada, pongal, Kesari and topped off with an ultimate Madras Filter Coffee. Foood quantity and quality were top notch! Highly recommend this place to all Vegetarian food lovers!

Ordered Veg Kothu, Mini Tiffin and Parotta everything was excellent. Especially sambar was very tasty and vada was same as what you get in Chennai.

I recently had the pleasure of ordering takeout from Shree Akshayam - South Indian Restaurant, and it was a delightful experience! The dosa I tried was incredibly flavorful and perfectly crispy, offering an authentic taste that took me back to the streets of South India. In addition to the dosa, I also savored their filter coffee. It was just the right balance of strong and smooth, making it the perfect accompaniment to the meal. Overall, the takeout service was efficient and the packaging kept the food warm and fresh. I highly recommend Shree Akshayam - South Indian Restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy some delicious South Indian cuisine!

Authentic and true to its reputation, this place delivers. The dosa is a perfect blend of crispy and soft, and they provide two servings of sambar. The vada is nicely crispy, though it could have been a bit larger. The filter coffee was served hot, and had the authentic taste. The variety of chutneys, especially the coconut one, is my favourite. The sambar was awesome and the portions are more than enough for one person. This is the best spot in town, and possibly all of Canada, for South Indian cuisine and vegetarian food.
