Sea Salt Seafood Café is a family-founded, curated, owned and operated seafood restaurant in Ajax, Ontario. Our café was born from a father’s love of lobster and his daughter’s obsession with coffee; a combination that has created a unique experience for the region. Our kitchen serves up Southern inspired seafood boils, lobster rolls, garlic mussels and dynamite shrimp, while our bar provides a unique coffee and mocktail experience. Our family recipes are crafted with a sprinkle of Southern style cuisine, and every bean and spice is carefully selected to bring our customers a consistently unique experience.

We ordered extra large seafood platter for take out along with the fried calamari. It was ordered on short notice but yet they were able to accomodate us. Everybody in the family LOVED it and this will be our Christmas Eve place to order from without a doubt! We want to thank you for the wonderful food and fyi it is NOT expensive. It is the same price as other places that are sub-par to Sea Salt Cafe.

One of our favourite restaurants. The service is very good; attentive and respectful. Food is so tasty. Lots of flavour and spice. The Turkish espresso is delightful. I often find myself wanting to stop and get just the espresso!

I recently dined at Sea Salt and indulged in their lobster roll and shrimp-loaded fries, paired with a refreshing passion mango drink. Glad to see a Halal seafood spot in Ajax. The food was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was exceptional. Our server was incredibly helpful. The restaurant itself is also beautifully designed. I’ll definitely come soon!

After waiting for my ride to pick me up from the go station I decided to give this place a try. The servers were very sweet and attentive. It was really clean as well. I got the lobster roll just to try- I enjoyed it but it was a little chewy to be honest. Everyone was getting the seafood boils and they looked amazing! Definitely have to try that next time. Also the women who made my coffee was absolutely stunning.

The food was delicious and the boil was cooked well. We had a large lobster boil. It includes lobster, shrimp, mussels, corn and rice. The butter sauce was really good and I like that you can customize the spicy level. The service was exceptional. Highly recommend

My family and friends came here on Labor Day long weekend after a long morning of fishing. The place was short-staffed but our server, Marna, went above and beyond doing everything on her own for us (and everyone else). Thanks to the cook also in the back who was also on their own. The service was slow but definitely worth the wait. Marna communicated the delay to us very well. The food did not disappoint. The smell alone is heavenly and the fish & chips are kid/toddler approved. We will definitely be coming back!

The food here was amazing! I visited with my family, and everyone enjoyed. We ordered a variety of everything, including calamari, crab, fish, lobster, and shrimp. I loved the sea salt seasoning. Restaurant has a good seating place and the service was good as well. If you like seafood, I would definitely recommend this place.

Took my sister to this place for her birthday as she loves seafood! Amazing atmosphere! It was right at the corner of the hwy exit. Plenty of parking space. As soon as you enter you can smell the house sauce ! 🤤 We ordered the lobster bucket and the shrimp and mussel bucket, fried calamari (freshly battered and fried) , and we got the coconut mango and guava passion fruit drinks! Everything was very delicious and savoury, lots of sauce, we loved the house sauce more than the Cajun sauce. Highly recommend to visit and try out their dishes. Pricey but worth it for their freshness. In terms of service, the lady behind the bar/cash was really good but not the other girl we kept waving and she just kept looking somewhere else. Overall good place to go as a family or group of friends!
