Patty gyal is hands down the best spot for patties in Durham. Tastes fresh, the beef patties are so flaky and tasty. 1 dozen patties is about 25$ so the price is good too. The owner is such a chill person. Don’t listen to the bad reviews, this spot is good

Everything I've tried here is fire. Jerk chicken, the shrimp, ackee and saltfish Jamaica patties are amazing. I loved the porridge that I got yesterday. Sweet and soulful spot!

We tried the spicy beef patties at a holiday market and they were the best patties ever. We wanted to also try the jerk chicken patties but they were sold out which means it must be a fantastic flavour. Hope to try other flavours when we're in the area again.

Got the curry goat patty. It is very flavourful however for the price it is not worth it. The patty was clearly warmed in the microwave and the amount of meat in the middle was about 1 tbsp. Good food but not good enough for the value.

The spicy beef patties are great! I haven't tried much else from this place. I wasn't a fan of their jerk chicken stuffed patties but I'll definitely stick to the beef patties.

Everything about this store is gross. The patty is dry and never taste the same. I think I can make better patties in the microwave. The people they hire here are a bunch of goons. Save your self a trip. The people who think this place is great probably doesn’t have any tastebuds.

Patty Gyal in Ajax is my new favorite spot! Their stuffed patties are out of this world – so flavorful and satisfying. The owner was incredibly kind and made me feel right at home. I love supporting small businesses, and this one truly deserves it. If you're in the area, you have to check them out!

Stopped by around 12:30 and they were unfortunately sold out of a lot of their options. I was able to get the last mild beef patty which was flavourful and flaky. Try to come early to avoid disappointment!
