I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. First, my glass had a visible lipstick stain, and even after getting a replacement, the new one had a food stain. When we ordered extra cutlery for daal, we waited for 10 minutes, only to receive dirty bowls again. While the staff seemed to be trying their best, it’s clear that this is a management and hygiene issue. The server was handling the entire restaurant by himself, which is unacceptable for any establishment. The cleanliness and service standards need serious improvement.

Tried their Cut Mirchi Biryani which was their weekend special. I like trying new foods and this one was a big surprise. This is the first time I had Cut mirchi Biryani and its really good. This should be made a regular choice on the menu. Keep bringing in new specials like this. My suggestion is Fish Biryani.

Second time ordering take out and was quite disappointed. We ordered a mutton dum biryani which came with a small side of raita and gravy. Firstly we found hair sitting on the gravy box as well as inside the biryani. Secondly the biryani had an intense amount of masala and tasted of nothing else but the masala - it was extremely overpowering. The flavor profile and quality has definitely declined. Will not be going back.

I ordered andhra karan kodi which was nice , but the bezawada biryani had RAW CHICKEN they were pink and rubbery ! When we told the manager and chef they both told 2 different stories of why that was , which were weird explanations! The manager took it out of the bill and handled it quickly , check your chicken if you eat here

We recently tried Nawabs in Burlington, and it was fantastic! We had the Chicken Tikka Biryani, Chilli Fish, Chicken 65, Chicken Tikka Kabab, Creamy Tomato Soup, and Street Side Gobi. Everything was delicious! The biryani was flavorful, the fish was spicy and tangy, and the chicken dishes were cooked perfectly. The tomato soup was rich and creamy, and the gobi was crispy and tasty. The service was friendly and quick. Highly recommend this place!

I had heard about Nawabs but never been to one. This time I went to their Burlington location and totally loved it. Their ambiance, vibe and taste is on point! I tried their biryani, tikkas, manchurian and chilly gobhi. Absolutely on point and the cherry on the cake was the mango lassi. Definitely recommending this place.

I recently dined at Nawabs Indian Cuisine in Burlington and it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the stage for a fantastic meal. The menu is a treasure trove of authentic Indian dishes, blending traditional flavors with a contemporary twist. The highlight of our meal was the biryani, a fragrant and perfectly spiced dish that transported us straight to the heart of India. Both the chicken and vegetarian options were outstanding, showcasing the restaurant's dedication to quality and authenticity. I highly recommend Nawabs Indian Cuisine for anyone looking to enjoy a royal feast in Burlington. It's a dining experience you won't want to miss!

We went to Nawabs second time after having their veg biryani and dosa earlier which was good. However, this time our experience was very poor. 1) Cheese Dosa for 4 yr old was crispy on the outside but cheese didn’t melt fully and ended up drying like noodles. My son rejected it after having 5-6 bites and it was not eatable after 10 mins as it became chewy. Coconut chutney took good 15 mins to be served with the dosa 2) Paneer Tikka Masala tasted as if it was cooked in ketchup, gravy was watery and paneer, onion and capsicum pieces didn’t taste good at all. 3) Dal Makhni was average and lacked flavour. It was too thick and we felt cornflour was added to make it thicker instead of actual ingredients. On providing feedback, we were told that due to staff shortage, we are facing these issues today with non-availability of items and poor quality of food. Being a weekend, place was decently occupied and they were scrambling to fulfil the orders. Its not a customer’s issue if you don’t have adequate staff to cater to the demand. Better to shut down for a day rather than serving poor quality and pathetic dine-in experience when we had to wait 45-50 mins for a simple order of 2 veg dishes and 4 rotis. Honestly, there are much better indian restaurants in Burlington and Oakville than Nawab’s so kindly stay away folks and save your money. Only good thing was that our beer and juice was served in 5 mins of placing the order and that is why I have given 1 star else it would have been 0.5 stars for the experience I had today.
