We have been coming to this restaurant for past 6 months. The quality and taste of food has remained consistently good. We love it here!

This is a hidden gem in Ajax/Pickering area. A low key restaurant serving traditional South Indian dishes. Come here for amazing dosas and great filter coffee.

A great spot for your traditional South Indian food. My first time here and it did not disappoint. Dosas were amazing and filter coffee was the cherry on the cake. You get a 10% discount if you pay cash.

This place is probably the best place to get dosa in durham in my opinion. Since they are a pure vegetarian, they do a good job in all their items on their menu. If you love south indian thali, make sure to try it during weekends lunch time. You wouldn't be disappointed.

Madura dine in never disappoints! This is our 5th time coming here just within a year and the quality never fails. If you wanna taste the South of India this is place you don't want to miss out!

This restaurant serves South Indian food with a very simple, no-frills ambience. The service is quick, and the staff are nice. The food was decent, though it could’ve been slightly better. We tried the paratha with curry and the Mysore dosa. The dosa could have been a bit crisper, but it wasn’t bad overall. It's a nice spot to visit if you're ever in the plaza, just don't expect to miss out on anything special.

Tried Madura for dine-in with my family for South Indian food and wasn’t impressed with the quality & taste of the dishes. We ordered Paper Mysore Masala Dosa, Masala Dosa, Onion Tomato Chilli Uttapam (without the chillies), Tomato Uttapam & Vegetable Biryani for main course. The ambience of the restaurant is okay. We were offered a table which was comprised of three small tables. The centre small table was shaking so we moved to another table which was fine. The Paper Mysore Masala Dosa & the Masala Dosa arrived first. Both of them were not crispy as they should have been. The Paper Mysore Masala Dosa is supposed to be longer in size. In addition, the potato masala was hardly there and over mashed. The Sambar was just dal and lacking the actual spices that create an authentic sambar. It did not even have the vegetables as part of the dish. The green coconut chutney was diluted and missing the coconut flavour. The coconut chutney should be thicker in its texture. The tomato chutney was okay being slightly spicy. The Onion Tomato Uttapam was good and crisp. However, the tomato uttapam had very less tomatoes on it which should not have been the case. The last item was the Vegetable Biryani which was a complete disappointment. It wasn’t a biryani at all but “Pulao” that is made at homes. The texture was like “Khichdi” and had hardly any vegetables in it. The portion was much less for the price of the dish. The presentation was also very poor. I called the server and complained about the Vegetable Biryani but they said this is how it is made at their restaurant. The server was kind to apologize for the dissatisfaction. To change our tastes, we ordered Rava Kesari for dessert. It took much longer than expected as it was being freshly prepared. It was worth the wait as it was delicious. Perfect sugar amount and very hot as well. It was served in a steel bowl but could have been presented better.

The food is very good and tasty. We have been here several times over the last couple of years. Also tried various items from their menu. The South-India dishes are fabulous 👌 hands down the best in Durham region. Location is convenient, but the fixtures ans furniture are dated and would need update. The service is warm, friendly and fast. All in all a huge winner, I would keep going there time and again!!
