Hubby and I love our regular visits to MacKenzie Pub where the staff makes us feel like family. It is a fun, welcoming environment with great food from brunch to supper or apps and a cheeky drink. They have lots of screens too, so a great place to watch a game, and THE best patio in Ajax (during the warmer months). We love all the servers, and the owner is truly invested in making Mackenzie a place to have fun, escape and ultimately enjoy!

This place is a real gem! Great food , Great service, warm and friendly... Scallops are a must try app here.. Daily specials are affordable and everything is made fresh in house.. I forgot to mention the Schnitzel best in durham!

Went here because of a recommendation. Got seated fairly quickly. And that was the extent of the service we got. We were on our table for 23 minutes, no server acknowledged us. No waters given. Asked who our server was and was told "they're coming shortly". Didn't want to wait another hour if the server will indeed come so we left. I'll give them 5 stars for ignoring customers.

We went to Mackenzies pub for a birthday dinner with the girls! Our food and drinks were absolutely amazing. Everything came out so quickly and the staff were all so friendly. Our server Kate, went above and beyond to meet our needs and expectations. She was so tentative and diligent and ensured our experience was outstanding. The food was outstanding. I would definitely recommend getting the nachos or homemade spring rolls. Overall, we had an amazing experience and will definitely be back soon!

We were in a wk ago for our 20th anniversary of being together. We had the roast beef, grosses food we ever had here..Normally food is really good. Pls remove this from your menu. It was so salty and kept my hubby all night, high anxiety. It makes us not want to come back. Very very disappointed to say the least.

Every single thing we ordered was AMAZING. I never order steak anywhere. But this one is now my go to order. It’s soooo tasty and juicy. Best steak ever. Nachos are great. Fajitas are so good and much cheaper than anywhere else. 10/10 recommend.

This is my friendly neighborhood pub, and my wife and I visit once or twice a week since 2016 when they opened. The staff is amazing, food portions generous and the food a great, with some surprising fusion items on the specials menu from time to time. Say hi to Raj, the owner, he's a great guy.
