I feel so welcome when I enter the restaurant! The ladies take the time to learn your name and make you feel like you belong! Shout out to Amanda, Shannon and Carissa for their excellent hospitality and food! A Forever customer. P.S. The Coffee is phenomenal!

What a lovely & authentic, female-owned diner! The place is nicely renovated and very clean. Lucy is such a genuine pleasure, she is welcoming & friendly, and went out of her way to give us tremendous service. Brought out colouring books and crayons for our child, and even let her see how the fries are cut behind the scenes. The food is incredibly tasty. The homefries are fresh and flavourful, the omelette is big and fluffy, the poutine has real cheese curds and delicious, smooth, and perfectly salted gravy. We will absolutely be coming back, what a gem of a joint!

Great little spot for classic good breakfast! Really enjoyed the eggs Benedict! The home fries were so good. Nice to go somewhere where the home fries are fresh and not re heated frozen ones. Very friendly staff. The French toast was also very fresh and fluffy! Great little local spot.

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!! The food was phenomenal! The servers there are so sweet! The owner even came to us to say hello. Eventually, because we were seated near the window on a sunny morning, we asked to have the curtains closed but because of the brackets, it couldn't be closed all the way. The owner came by, and took her iconic headband off and used the bow to forcefully tie the two curtains together for our table!!!! Above and beyond sh-T!

Great dining experience! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant itself is super cute with colourful walls and retro themed decor making it a great place for Instagram pictures! The food was fresh and delicious. My mom especially loved the home fries while I loved my milkshake. It is also super convenient that breakfast and lunch is offered during all hours. I would completely recommend visiting!

It is an authentic 50s diner. Note the picture of the spoon handle. Its from Auntie's spoon collection not a restaurant supply house. Quaint. The classic cars pictured were customers. The eggs bene impressed my wife. Excellent. The French toast was classic french toast. Not sure what gives them that flavour but thats what I wanted. The hash browns? I am not the chef nor owner of a restaurant to comment beyond my own taste buds. I.e. what do most people want? I found them bland. The question readers of this note who live outside Pefferlaw is, if it's worth the extra 3 to 5 minutes to stop in on the way "north" in the morning (closes at 2pm) - to deviate off the Hwy 48 route. To me, for sure yes, as long as you understand this is a restaurant not fast food. The only gripe I have is with the town councilors who succumbed to the political pressure to establish 40km/hr speed limits in residential conditions where other municipalities have 60. In the country highways in the absence of traffic (unlike the city) its easy for your grampa and his Buick, travelling 10 over the standard 80, to miss a 40 ahead warning sign obscured by tree growth and loose his car to "Stunt driving" (50 over) as he is ticketed for doing 90 in a 40. The roads into Pefferlaw are 40s. As municipal speed cameras used as revenue producers spread this becomes all the more important.
