Definitely better since they changed the lighting and paint back to traditional. I was there a few years back when the had bright LEDs and bright floors and walls. It felt like a hospital so I swore I wouldn't go back. Much better now as it feels more traditional. And food and beer was good.

I've been there four times now. Meals first two times were fantastic. Can't remember what me and my friend ordered. It was a while ago but it was good. Third time there we ordered the Simcoe burger. Fantastic. We were told then and this fourth time that the fish and chips were heavy on the batter. Thought we'd give them a go. The batter overwelms the fish, its over fried and the haddock is over done, flavorless and mushy. I love fish and chips but this did come close ro pleasing rhe palate. Fries are great. The service is wonderful. Next time I want to try the Shepard's Pie.

We had lunch at Lake Simcoe Arms. The food was delicious! I had the chicken club sandwich on a pretzel bun and fries and my friend had the nachos. Becky was our server and she was absolutely lovely and so friendly!! We are from out of town but we will definitely go back there again!!

Good atmosphere Great patio space however it is right beside the road and can be noisy. Good service Good food. My only complaint is that the crudite that came with the fries was very thickly cut and would have been better if they were sliced thinner than that.

Attentive service. Close to the beach. The fish and chips was very well done without overly oily. The coleslaw portion could be a bit larger. I wish they also have a choice of mushy peas as side just like in England.

Only rating 4 stars because the waitress was super nice. I had placed an order on the website (not skip, uber, etc - their own actual website). I showed up half hour later to pick up and the waitress apologized profusely and said they don't have access to online orders and this happens all the time. She quickly put my order in for me. How stupid is it that there is an option to order on the website, if your staff can't access it?! Either give them access or remove it as an option. Food was ok. I ordered the steak sandwich with sweet waffle fries. I asked for medium rare and it was very well done. Still tasted ok, but disappointing when you order something and the kitchen doesn't make it properly. Overall the food was just ok, waitress was super kind. Fix your online ordering though!
