It was yesterday, Friday evening and there were only two wonderful ladies serving the entire dining room. We could see that It was too much to handle for the two of them, but they did it with a smile and a selfless attitude. What a great example of toughness and fantastic customer service. They were simply awesome. The food too was great.

This is a 5-star rating for Jenny for her exceptional professionalism and customer service. She provided outstanding service with a smile, ensuring everything was perfect. The fresh salad and delicious salmon were wonderful. Thanks to the management for maintaining such high standards. The restaurant was clean and plentiful, making it a family-friendly environment. Very cute family restaurant en route to the cottage. We enjoyed the beef and barley soup (worth the hype) and the pie was very nice. The fish and chips was okay. I think this establishment is a meat and potatoes kind of place - we saw a lot of locals ordering that, the mashed potatoes looked divine!! Definitely will try next time.

We happened to drive by this little gem and are so grateful we turned around!!! Had soup and sandwich which was all home made and so very delicious! Staff was fantastic , place was clean and small chatter with the patrons of the place and bonus we had pie and ice cream afterwards! Thank you Anchor Family Restaurant for making our drive and day better 😊 Do yourself a favor and dine in and enjoy a delicious meal! Your welcome 😉

Great family owned restaurant. We stopped by after 11 am and the waitress still allowed us ordering breakfast meals instead of lunch. Good food and affordable prices. The restaurant has kids menu, liquor menu and also homemade cakes and pastries.

This place is absolutely a breath of fresh air. Homestyle cooking and a family run business. The wait staff are phenomenal and the food as good. Mouth watering burgers and desserts amount other amazing options. Definitely go there for a bite to eat. You will not be sorry you did.

I went there with my family...every item we ordered.. was very yummy and in good portions ... everyone loved their own dishes ...it's reasonable... very cordial and prompt staff... it's a great experience

Stopped by on the way back from Sibbald Point Provincial Park. We found the restaurant to be neat and clean, the service from Yolanda was great she was friendly and attentive. Last but not least and maybe the most important was our food and it was very good, I had a burger and fries (homemade fresh burger) and my wife had the souvlaki which very good too. Will stop by again when we’re up there.
