An okay joint for Korean food and one of a kind since it's halal. Flavours were okay. Portions were okay for the price and the flavours (ie meat marinades) weren't that pronounced. Tried the prime steak and short ribs (that werent pre cut so they provided scissors with the order!). The chili sauce didn't taste authentic Korean that you would find in other Korean restaurants. The kimchi felt store-bought. I didn't enjoy much overall also due to the lack of good air ventilation for a table bbq experience which was on a portable stove. Staff and service were decent though.

Tasty food & great service. We stopped for lunch on our way to downtown Toronto and wish they have the same quality Halal Korean restaurant in Ottawa. Generous portion for the price of food. The virgin grape mojito was so refreshing! Highly recommend this place.

Food was good. Not a typical KBBQ experience but the BBQ options will come out pre-placed on a gas grill top. The food was pretty good. We enjoyed the kimchi fried rice and the special sauce chicken a lot. The La galbi was okay. You need to get 2 orders of any bbq dish at minimum so that'll cost about $50-65 for the 1 dish 800g-1kg. Overall worth trying. The kitchen is shared between bbq chicken next door. Total for a good amount of food split between friends was mid $40s per person. I'd prefer to just go to AYCE, but options are limited for halal- which is always appreciated to have.

I love me some Korean food, man, and the food at "Le Bulgogi" is pretty good! But, there's a lot room for improvement, especially on the pricing and ambiance. Let's talk food, The "Le Bulgogi" menu covers a decent amount of all the Korean favorites, soups, fried chicken, and Korean BBQ. It's all there. But where things fall apart is when you start to add the total for a meal! Two people can easily rack up hundreds of dollars while only choosing a couple of things (looking at you LA kalbi ribs) and then when you consider that there is almost no decor or atmosphere, that price tag isn't worth it. There's time for improvement and I'm hoping the owners turn things around.

Here is my frank experience, granted I'm not biggest fan of Korean food so it may be skewed an opinion My wife is big fan of Korean food so I went The appetizer was absolutely amazing - sausage with rice cakes In terms of main dishes - braided beef rib my wife got was amazing. I got the bulgogi noodle (that was tasteless and when I tried to add chilis it got worse). Glass noodles with vegetables were good also In terms of bbq they don't use the large grills as conventional Korean grill places, they use small butane burner. Food was pricey definitely. The sides especially the kimchi and mashed potatoes was wonderful.

We had enjoyed dining at their adjoining restaurant (BanBan Korean Fried Chicken - Ajax) last month and had been wanting to give Korean BBQ a try this time around at Le Bulgogi. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you are stuck by the austere and minimalistic, but clean and unpretentious vibe of the place. Service was handled very well by two smiling and very accommodative servers. We ordered the Bulgogi (thinly sliced beef) and Dakgalbi (chicken thigh pieces). My favorite amongst the two was the beef because of how quickly it was cooked due to it being sliced so thin, but also the garlicky flavor. The chicken was deceptively spicy - at first bite, you get the sweetness but the spicy kick gets you soon enough. We also ordered a few sides - Radish, Rice (x2) and Coleslaw (x2). It was great to see so many families enjoying their Sunday. We had a great time too and will be back again to try the Galbi Jjim and the La Galbi next time.

This is THE spot for Halal Authentic KBBQ Bulgogi and Halal Fried Chicken made by Koreans. We travelled all the way from Buffalo to experience this and it was worth the drive! It is not like the traditional way of grilling the meat yourself, rather the hot plate comes with the meats and sauces already in them, and you pretty much cook it on the table over a propane stove all mixed in. Side dishes are free refills and food was made with love. Thank you for providing Halal option for Muslims, may Allah bring good fortune to your business!

If you’re looking for an exciting culinary experience, Le Bulgogi in Ajax is a must-visit. The ambiance is sleek and inviting, blending modern style with traditional Korean elements, making it perfect for a laid-back meal with friends or family gatherings. The Experience: You’re handed a menu filled with premium cuts of beef and marinated chicken, each ready for you to grill to perfection. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, always ready to guide first-timers. As the grill sizzles and the aroma fills the air, there’s a unique joy in cooking your own meal and sharing it with the table. The Food: The quality of the meat is top-notch—tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. A standout is the Bulgogi beef, marinated to perfection with a subtle sweetness and a smoky char. Pair that with a spread of side dishes—kimchi, pickled radishes,
