Great family restaurant with lots of options. Loved the fish and chips. Friendly owners and great staff!

A pleasant stop along the highway. There aren't many places that serve a hearty fish and chips alongside an authentic diner-style Greek salad. The batter on the fish was excellent and the French fries tasted homemade. The two piece Halibut and fries was easily split between two people. We'd certainly come back on our way up to Peterborough.

The lady at the counter was extremely rude. I went back to my car to pay with a Prepaid debit card since they do not accept credit card but her device said it is a credit transaction. She took it out on me and asked me “you still paid by credit card can you not read what it says” implying that I deliberately paid with a credit card. I know I paid by debit, I made a trip to my car even though I had a credit card on me, so that I could pay with a debit card. Unfortunately her machine showed a message “credit transaction”. If the lady is reading this message I wish small businesses like yours well especially because of the personal nature of them and though you may be having a bad day it is not right to take it out on someone. Unfortunately I will be giving this place a one star for service. The Coffee was not bad.

I ordered 1 piece halibut with fries for take out. I was really impressed with the portion size since a lot of other establishments are charging more and giving less, especially Fish n' Chips places. However, this restaurant has 1 pc with fries for $12.99 and the size of the fish was perfect. There was lots of fries with my order too.

Came in after reading many reviews of this restaurant being a tiny gem. We got fish and chips and I got a burger and salad. We are very happy with the food, portion size and the waitress. Food portion was great. Food was perfect. Not too much breading, there was actual fish and it was yummy. My burger was perfectly done. Nice soft bun and my salad was yummy too. Our waitress tended to us the perfect amount. I hate when people hover over us with fake personalities. She came, got our order, made sure we were all set, then let us eat. Very happy with everything. Price was about the same as if we eat at a fast food place. We will be back. Thanks so much.

A nice resturant along highway. We ordered fish and chips. Generous portion of fish as well as chips just that it was too much oily.

Huge portion, got the Haddock (Fisherman’s Cut) and chips…but so sad that the fries despite being hot were stale! Tastes reheated rather than fresh, or the oil wasn’t hot enough? Fish was good, but also generally not flavourful 😢
