Jake's Grill & Oyster House

The food was so good! I got the beef brisket tacos and blackberry mocktail! This is probably my favourite taco! The service was great too! I don’t recall the name of our server but she was brilliant!

I love this place, I've been coming here for years and the quality and consistency of the food is always impressive. The seafood chowder is to die for, more often than not, sea food chowders are filled with a frozen seafood mix, but at Jakes, they use huge chunks of fresh seafood mixed into a delicious chowder. Its a starter, but you could easily have it as a light lunch. I also ordered the fish tacos which had a huge chunk of fish inside of it and was wonderful. The best item for me on this visit was the seafood omelette, filled with huge pieces of fresh seafood, I'll be ordering this again. The service is top notch as is the warm and inviting atmosphere.

Went to Jake’s last night for my husbands birthday, I had the trout which was delicious. Tried raw oysters for the first time, very yummy. Other dishes were ribs, fish n chips, crab cakes, bbq oysters. Not one food complaint, just wish our server was a little more friendlier, she was very serious, didn’t ruin our night though 😊

Wow, just wow. This has got to be one of the best seafood restaurants I’ve ever been to. Went with my girlfriend yesterday for dinner and we were completely floored with this place. Met and exceeded expectations in every category! 10/10 food, service, ambiance, everything! I forgot to get our servers name but she was truly great! Food came out very quickly and the flavours… WOW like no words to describe how much we loved every dish we got. We ordered the escargot, the mussels, shrimp tacos, and oysters and they all were amazing!!! If you like mussels you will be in heaven here. We opted for the spicy marinara sauce and it was SO tasty, mussels themselves were also huge! The oysters were also amazing, very fresh and super tasty! But really though everything hit the mark and more for us. Cannot wait to return! You guys better never close down because you have earned two customers for life!

Jake's is always a go to for delicious fish and seafood. Had the Thanksgiving turkey dinner special. It was very delicious and very generous portion sizes. Would definitely recommend Jake's for a beautiful cozy and warm dining experience. Never disappoints.

A great place for enjoying sea food, loved their menu and service. Nice ambience and decor. I actually went with my kids, one of who has turned crazy about sea food lately. The server was so kind to tweak the menu per his liking and he loved his plate! We all chose different things and loved them all. Pasta is delicious hands down. Fish tacos, chicken sandwich and oysters - delicious! We went for lunch over the long weekend but it wasn’t too busy. Just right. Over all had a very good time. My younger one definitely wants to come back for more pasta 😊

My friend recommended this place because of the grilled food as well as sea food. I had scallops and they were delicious and my friend loves the Cajun chicken pasta. We also had the fish and chips and the shrimp salad. Everything was delicious and I would definitely return for more. Service was excellent and staff were very accommodating.

My friend and I came here for the first time for lunch. Our server, a very nice lady for table 50, was super friendly and professional, who deserves 10 stars for her excellence in service. We ordered the daily mushroom soup, classic chowder and calamari, all of which tasted wonderfully with very reasonable price. Lobster rolls were delicious but a bit overpriced considering the quantity. Seafood linguine tasted well, just a bit too salty for me. The nice dessert with sparkle for my birthday was very nice. Overall, we had a wonderful experience here and would recommend this restaurant! Note that a reservation is necessary as they were super busy and fully booked for Thursday lunch time!
