December 28, 2024 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was truly a hidden gem tucked in an industrial area. I can see myself visiting again. When we walked in, we were directed upstairs to the dining area. Staff is downstairs. All you have to do is press the button at your table when you're ready to place an order. The dining and washrooms were very clean. I love the decor, they played good music, TV if you want to watch a show, and even 2 dart boards to play a game of two while you wait for your food. When the meals were brought out, the plate presentation was wonderful. I was impressed! You can tell how delecious the meals were going to be just by the way it looked. I ordered the Firestrom poutine, which was very flavourful and enough to take home a snack for later. The staff is very friendly and always went over and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.

Date/Time of Visit: December 28 approx 5:30pm was first visit to Hunters Spot located on Station/Fairall in Ajax. **Note** Entrance to parking is on Station Ordered the Beefy Double Decker Burger with fries. What a beautiful looking burger with the vibrant green curly lettuce. Dripping with juices. The burger was delicious, flavorful and had the right amount of condiments and special sauce which all complimented each other. Fries were golden and crispy. Very nice establishment with dart boards upstairs in the dining area. Vibrant colors for seating with rustic lighting fixtures. Staff was very friendly.

A buddy of mine recommended Hunter Spot, and I’ve already been there twice. Both times were a positive experience. Nausheen was very helpful and took the time to explain the menu to me. I tried the Tandoori Chicken and Smoky Sizzle. Will definitely be coming back! Excellent food and service 👏🏾

Went to this recently opened spot after reading good reviews. We tried the tex-mex poutine, garlic parmesan wings and crunchy chicken burger. The poutine and wings were great, my spouce did not enjoy her burger though and said it was very average. Service was great, the place is clean, its a family owned place and it’s halal.

Seeing as how Hunters Spot was one of the top rated restaurants in Ajax, I just had to check it out. When I entered it was just the owner and the Chef at the counter. They gave me several recommendations and popular choices I went with the wings, veggie poutine, tandoori chicken wrap Everything was fresh to order and very flavourful! I was so impressed that I had to thank the chef first hand for the wonderful meal. I wish I could recommend my favourite dish but it was all so good. The only negative is the parking lot situation. Having to park at the back and walk to the street for the front door

Came here with some of my family to try it out. Great Halal restaurant. Has a couple tables for eating on first floor but main dining is upstairs. Nice decor throughout place and kept very clean. We ordered the dry Cajun wings which were delicious, the chicken/cheese ball poutine. It was alright, did not like the chicken ball filled with cheese or cheese sauce that much but would like to try another one of the poutines which sounded good. We also got the double decker burger customized with the toppings I personally like over what was default. The burger tasted great. Would like to come back to try either the bison burger or the pulled beef burger. Staff was nice and attentive to us.

Dont sleep on the great atmosphere this spot provides. There is a spacious upstairs area for dining that has 2 real dart boards which is great for friends or family to play some games while you wait for food. It adds to the Hunter vibe they are going for The food was great, I definitely recommend getting atleast one of their poutines with gravy. We got the vegetarian one and it was amazing and great to share. (we got vegetarian as all our dishes were gonna have meat anyways) The Chicken wings were juicy, had alot of meat on them and tasted great. We got the Zesty BBQ, Garlic Parmesan & Pineapple Habenero. We also got there chicken and waffle burger which was amazing, I loved how the waffle tasted Service was nice as well, we had a pleasant conversation when ordering and were easily able to ask for recommendations to cater to our needs for the food selection I highly recommend this place especially going in person with a group of people for a fun hang out spot with darts 😄

Was out riding my bike, looking for a casual place to stop and grab a bite to eat for lunch, and found the Hunters spot when searching Google for a good burger joint. I ended up visiting twice in two days. The restaurant is extremely clean and nicely decorated. You can tell right away that they take pride in their business. As I mentioned I was craving a burger but after a nice chat with the owners (answered all my questions and were very helpful despite me being comically indecisive) I decided to go with their suggested Tandoori Chicken Tango roll instead. I was very impressed with the flavors and freshness. You can tell it's all homemade. I also tried a little crispy chicken puff pastry, which was fresh and satisfying. I went back the following day, I tried their double-decker burger, and it too was excellent. The sauce (apparently a mixture of 3 homemade sauces was awesome). It's a totally messy burger, but it's just the way I like it, I have to say I'm very impressed. I will be going back soon, and this time, I'll be taking the family with me. On a side note, when i was looking at the reviews, someone provided a negative review, which i noted was inaccurate and misleading. I'm not in any way affiliated with the owners, nor do i know them personally, but i felt compelled to share my point of view. I found the prices to be very reasonable given the portions and in line with what you'd expect to pay for good quality homemade food. The reviewer commented about the prices being high. In particular, they referenced pop at $6. I purchased canned pop, and it was $1.99, not $6, which is, in fact, cheaper than many other restaurants these days. I'm not sure if they were having a bad day, but I don't think it's right to dunk on a new business and provide misleading information while doing so. All i can say is that in my 2 visits so far, I was totally satisfied with the food and the kind hospitality that I received. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed!
