Great classic breakfast. Lots of refills on coffee and excellent service overall. Cute and cozy cafe is a nice way to start the day. Grape jelly isn’t something you get everywhere, as well as the daily specials. Will definitely be coming back. Our server even recommended other great spots in the area to checkout which was so kind, and helpful if you’re from out of town.

A friend and I explored Sutton's Black River and felt like a late dinner. High Street Bistro welcomed us in, served us a steak sandwich, soup and Greek salad, only to learn they had closed 20 minutes beforehand. The food was absolutely delicious and both the cook and server went over and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our experience! Thank you 🙏

I came here cause of the reviews and will continue to be back because of the food and prices. It's a great spot for breakfast. I haven't tried anything but breakfast options. The waitresses also do a great job as its usually busy, but they keep things moving! Nice to have a good spot north of the city.

Best pancakes anywhere! Matter of fact best breakfast all around! We don’t live nearby but come here often because quality shows. Great food, great service. Highly recommend!

Fish and chips are consistently great here. As an avid poutine lover the gravy here is outstanding and rich in flavor. You have to make sure you eat it within a few minutes of picking up, as with any poutine. If I can knock anything it would be the portion size and excessive oil. However, they make sure to wrap it well in paper which I use to dry the fish of any excess oil. Let's face it, any fish and chips will be oily. I like that the oil is clean, there is no smell and the color of the fish is clear and golden. Only limited street parking is available but there is plenty spaces you can find in and around the area if you go down the side streets across from the location. The establishment has a quaint feel and could use a makeover, it's currently under new ownership. Customer service is great. I recommend this place, give them a try if in the area.

Just had lunch here and it was absolutely wonderful. Amazing food with huge portions for a great price. The place is so cute and cozy, i loved the decor and aesthetic. Service was wonderful too. Our waitress was nice and helpful and so patient when i knocked my water over. She helped me clean it up Food was fresh and hot and delicious. Everything about our experience was amazing
