Good Pho You

Cute little mom and pop shop with a warm atmosphere. Heads up bring cash or debit. We absolutely loved this place. My sister and I tried it for the first time because she really wanted to try some bún bò huế which she got; I ordered the grilled chicken pho and some fried wontons. Oh my days! The soup bases were SO delicious flavourful and fragrant. Every sip of broth felt like the warmest coziest hug. The meat in the bún bò huế was melt-in-your-mouth tender and the grilled chicken was so juicy with a nice char. The meat to soup to noodle ratio is spot on you get a little of each down to the last bite! The owner was so kind and helped us decide, so were the other two servers helping out they were so attentive and sweet. We can’t wait to come back!

The atmosphere was a bit crowdy but can’t blame much because the chicken sandwiches were great. A little less cilantro would have been appreciated in the sandwich but otherwise they were great. The garlic fish sauce chicken wings is what i would recommend everyone.

Very busy, went in on a Saturday at 7 pm and we got lucky to get a dining table. We got the vegan pho with spicy vegetable broth and the rice paper Greengrass spring roll. It was our first time eating Vietnamese food, SOO GOOOD. Highly recommend Please do note: they do not offer halal options which is unfortunate and something I hope they add in the future as my husband couldn't order anything meat

Went here for dinner and was surprised to find a really great Vietnamese pho restaurant in this area. The banh MI was excellent with really crispy bread and the vermicelli with grilled chicken and spring rolls was delicious. The portions were awesome and we felt very full afterwards. This will become our go to spot whenever we are in the area.

Where do I even begin? The owner is absolutely amazing! I was welcomed with a warm, friendly smile. I mentioned that it was my first time trying Pho and that I discovered her restaurant on TikTok. I’ll definitely be back to try everything on the menu. Keep an eye out for my review on TikTok!

The Best Pho in Durham, Ontario. Great experience. Delicious and fresh food and excellent customer service. Oxtail soup was super delicious and autentic Pho. Definetly we will come back and highly recommended to our friends.

My first visit to Good Pho You was prompted by the Google reviews that caught my attention. Despite the snug setting, the place was busy with activity, mainly catering to take-out orders. The food was served promptly and exceeded expectations. Toward the end of the night, there was a bit of a wait to settle the bill, and during that time, table service seemed a bit stretched. Despite these observations, my overall experience at Good Pho You was positive. It left me wondering if they might have been short-staffed on that particular day, I would give them a try again.

November 29, 2023 around 6:30pm was the first visit to Good Pho You. Modern design, flooring & layout of restaurant. Very clean and open establishment. Ordered medium sized beef flank pho. Piping hot when it came out and multiple layers of flavor in the broth and meat. Very enjoyable & will return. Great service upon entering and welcoming. It took a while to get the bill however understandable as there were multiple take out orders under preparation.
