Bombay Chili

I recently visited Bombay Chilli and was shocked to see that they charged taxes on my bill, despite the government’s clear announcement of a two-month tax exemption. When I brought this up to the staff, they seemed unaware or unwilling to address the issue. It's disheartening to see a restaurant of their reputation failing to comply with government directives. Not only does this undermine customer trust, but it also raises questions about their ethical practices.

We went to this restaurant with the hopes that it would be open for dine in. We arrived at 11:10pm on Saturday and the restaurant was suppose to be open till 12:00am mid night. The cashier said that they were only doing takeout at this time? I understand if they did take out only with 15 mins to close but we had to take the food out. We ordered our food and the takeout food was coming out abnormally fast. It’s like the food was already prepared and they are just trying to get rid of the left overs. After we got home and started to have the food the butter chicken was super bland, the rice was under cooked and hard, the naan was absolutely rock solid even the store bought frozen naan is wayyyyyy better than what we got from Bombay chilli. The tandoor chicken tasted almost chemical just drenched in red food colouring and tasted beyond bland, felt like it was 2 day old chicken. The vegetable schewan noodles were so gross, it was cold and tasted like plastic, also there were bits of hard pieces of wierd bits, felt like nails to me. The samoas were burnt to a crisp and tasted disgusting. We basically threw all the food out, and the food cost us 70 dollars. To be honest the food, the service, and the overall vibe was just horrible. If this restaurant is going to run longer it won’t survive for long. Please use this feedback to improve your restaurant. I personally will not be recommending this place to anyone.

Small and cozy place more appropriate for take out than dining out but the food is excellent and the owner and staff ensures that your order will be waiting for you.

The owner of this restaurant is extremely rude! Picked up dinner that was over $100 and having paid cash, I was told a certain amount over the phone. When I went to pick up the food, he did not honour the discount and argued with me, yelling at me in front of other guests. This is not the type of service we need. The Food has also deteriorated in the last couple of months. There are lots of other amazing and extremely friendly Indian restaurants in Burlington that are way better than Bombay Chilli.

Worst experience ever. Tried their dahi bhalle, manchurian and fried momos, they give everything frozen. Whats the point of having of restraunt if you are giving frozen food. They are selling $5 food for $16. Not worth a single penny tbh. Dont waste your money here. U r going to lose your taste buds trying their food.

Went to for a take out for my lunch waited 15-20 min for food preparation and when finally it came their card machine weren't working. They have 4 card machines 2 not charged (battery low) 2 not working. Finally had to leave with no food after 30-40 min and couldn't go elsewhere aswell as by the time my lunchtime got over at work. Request you guys to keep your payment systems properly working and in place. This was not the first time am coming to this restaurant but might be the last.

Had a really great experience with Bombay chilly. We tried both veg and non veg at restaurant but this time, we have placed a catering order for the dinner. The food was fabulous and we ordered Chinese food. Definitely going back to have some good food and enjoy the fine dine and will order catering. I will Highly recommend to anyone who loves hakka chinese and indian cuisine. Thanks Bombay chilly.

This was our first time dine in after the pandamic and We decided to visit Bombay chili in Alton Village.We ordered channa masala,aloo gobhi ,palak paneer and garlic naan.Everything was fresh and delicious.Spice level was medium as per our request.One of the best garlic naan we have ever had.Service was prompt and Owner was very friendly too..Ll visit again .Thanx..❤️❤️❤️
