Best food in Ontario!! You won't find better food Natalie gets her goat, spices from back home on her families farm in Jamaica. I feel so energetic after eating, the flavor is UNBEATABLE. From Ox tail to curried goat, rotti, and real oven baked pizza...Natalie is so genuine and humble..and the reggae really sets the tone. Wow!!

My mom ordered from here, was all good until I went to pick up & pay.. the cook was ringing up my order, asked me what I ordered, told him I wasn’t sure as my mother had ordered. He began to ring it up anyway, as he had cooked & packaged it. Upon hearing this the woman came over & up-charged all the meals to 3 larges, even argued with the person who made & packaged the food. It was obvious she was incorrect as the packages were not all the same size and the cook disagreed with her. Confirmed with my mother she had ordered 2 mediums & a small. Good food, but will never go back due to the clear lack of respect for customers and the cook.

I REALLY wanted to like this establishment because I have driven past for quite some time and the reviews looked pretty good, sadly we did not have a great experience. One young woman working when we arrived, handling server and food preparation alone. We ordered 2 jerk chicken sandwiches, 1 regular and 1 bbq; I wish I had taken more time to consider the bbq option as it was just the regular jerk chicken slathered in bbq sauce and definitely ruined the flavour and texture of the sandwich for me, it was quite wet, the bottom bun was soggy and of course fell apart; this was not the worst part of our visit - the bathroom was "out of order" !! The one bathroom for approximately 30 seats was unavailable; this was on me for not noticing right away - we definitely would not have ordered food if I had seen the sign. You do not open your doors for seating in a restaurant if there's no working restroom, takeout only would have been a better option imo, it was quite annoying as a paying guest. I asked the young woman if there was a staff bathroom that I could use and was told no which was a little hard to believe when a 2nd young woman showed up for work! Ordered 2 patties to go since we couldn't stick around and a couple of reviews had mentioned how good the patties are, we opted to heat them at home where we could be confident of a working bathroom - heated them as per the instructions from the staff member and again, disappointed. I've had better grocery store frozen product, SO much pastry and a small little pocket of meaty gravy. It seems that this mediocre establishment is enough for some good reviews but....save your money; I've had a few great Jamaican/Caribbean food experiences and this ain't it

Never again. I’m sorry I really wanted to enjoy this place but this was the worst Caribbean food experience we have ever had. We ordered the jerk chicken meal, jerk chicken poutine, and beef patties. I’m not sure why they were open on a Saturday because half the menu was not available and this was on a Saturday afternoon in the summer. We almost left but we drove all the way just to try this place. It seemed like it was only a few very young ladies (possibly high school students) that were running the place. They were all friendly. Not sure if there was a manager/owner there that day but someone should have been checking the quality of the food. The food tasted like it was old, maybe even store bought, and the poutine had an off putting taste to it every bite was getting worse. The patties were no better which was a big disappointment. We barely finished any of the food and I got sick from it later on (it was the only food I ate since I was looking forward to trying this restaurant). Atmosphere was very dull inside. I hope they can improve as I want to see them succeed but I do not think I’ll be back.

Went to the Flava Spot, got a Jerk Chicken and it was amazing! Found out they are a sub of Big Bear, decided to go there and get dinner. Got another large Jerk Chicken with Coleslaw, came with delicious fried veg on the rice. This is an amazing, clean, local, family Jamaican restaurant with Canadian food options too. This place is a Must Try, I hear another location coming soon to Island City. Much Love Natalie! BLESS

The jerk chicken is incredibly flavourful! Very happy with the portion size for the price. Natalie and her family are very welcoming and friendly - nothing but good vibes when you step in. Definitely will be back, and hope to get out to a Saturday dance party!

Food is incredible. We all shared the king fish, curry chicken, jerk pork, and the Greek salad. Everything was delicious - great flavours and generous portions! Also super friendly. Highly recommend.

Today we decided to try BBB&G based on all the positive reviews. We ordered the Jerk Chicken and it was FABULOUS! We felt like we flew into Jamaica for this meal.The only thing missing were the palm trees and sandy beaches. Honestly, it was THE BEST jerk chicken we’ve had since we last visited Jamaica! Paired with Jamaica’s Red Stripe beer, we had The Best meal without the expense of flying to Jamaica. Natalie is the perfect host/owner and easily welcomed us with that fabulous Jamaican warmth and hospitality. It’s fantastic Georgina finally has place like this!! The atmosphere is very casual, laid back and has more of a take out feel. If you are more focused on friendly service and authentic Jamaican food, THIS IS THE PLACE! Highly recommend and we will most definitely return. Thanks so much Natalie for a GREAT FOOD EXPERIENCE!
