The food is always great. My experience with the management was great today aswell. Uber messed up my order and canceled it after waiting for 40 mins. The manager called me and resolved it way quicker than uber could ever.

The place is indescribably dirty, the grill is dirty, the short lady puts the meat on the dirty hot plate and flips it, and puts it on top of the rice. The table they use for service is very dirty, they don't clean the place between orders.. I asked the short lady about the manager to talk to him, she laughed sarcastically and said she was the manager. She goes out to smoke and then comes back to prepare the food orders without washing her dirty hands 🤮

I come here regularly with my kids to this delicious restaurant. Kids love it so much. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants something new to eat.

We chanced upon Babaz during a stopover at a Burlington Shell gas station (4000 Mainway, Burligton). It was a quaint, modern & very clean food court style setting that had Tim Horton's, Wendy's, Burrito Boyz and this Babaz. Because we have tried all the others in Toronto, we decided to try this as it was something new to us. It was like a Shawarma Fuzion place where they offered other Shawarma flavors aside from just the regular beef and chicken we are familiar with. They had Pineapple Chicken Shawarma, Pinapple Beef Shawarma, Grilled Shrimp Shawarma plate to name a few. Flavour wise, it was also very good. Portions are not as big as what we have in Toronto but still good portion size if you ask me. If you are in that area, I suggest that you try it. You won't be disappointed.

Very poor quality food. We ordered 12 different dishes, and 8 of them were distasteful. The beef shawarma is dry, hard, and old. The chicken shawarma is a bit better but the garlic sauce was old and was aged. One of our group members got diahrea. The restaurant also charged us for one dish and never delivered it. The potato fries were just okay. The poutine didn't have any body so it was like a soupy potato gravy. The hummus was great (1 good dish) Overall, the reviews are very misleading and this is not 2 star restaurant.
