I tried their curry goat with rice and peas. Very nice, very filling. Sauce was nice - saucy not oily. They have a selection of soups. I am looking forward to trying more items on the menu.

I love the flavor. Its really good but the food is fresh sometimes and its awesome. Don't order on Sundays because the chicken will be really old. Its left over day on Sundays. This happened to me me many times but i still order once a month hoping for a fresh cooked jerk chicken but it's just getting worse. I think I'm going to stop from now on.great flavor but not fresh most of the times(specially on Saturday and Sunday 😞 overall: dry and hard chicken but good flavor

Got the Barbi fry chicken with rice and peas and it was stellar, I’ve had many types of fried chicken and Barbi fry but the sauce they use is exceptional. Tangy sweet and a little spicy just perfect. Oxtail was abit bland and needed more pepper and butter beans. Overall the meal was good and satisfying. Will be back for the barbi fry.

When you walk up to the door you can hear the music and feel the happy vibes. Friendly fast service . Great portions! Very delicious with just the right amount of spice. Perfect amount of chicken to potato ratio. So delicious that hubby ate 2 Curry Chicken Roti’s. I had the Stewed Chicken on Rice n’Peas - good flavour & not spicy (perfect for me) & the small comes in a 5” round container. I love gravy (sauce) and always want more….only have to note that it’s not boneless so be careful of small bits of bone. Overall we loved this experience & will be back for more.

Great tasting food! Anytime I'm in the Pickering/Ajax area I have to stop and get food here. Consistently great flavours and friendly service! Seating area is avaliable but not many seats. I usually order for takeout.

Very busy spot delicious food real authentic Caribbean dishes. Service and food was really good especially the soup on a cold day. The oxtail, rice and peas was so delicious huge portion size. I really wanted to try and rate the experience for myself and I was very satisfied. The owner was very pleasant and welcoming thanks for your recommendations;-) Looking forward to visiting again!

Nice and friendly staff. Clean establishment. Decent tasting food. Oxtail could be more tender with a bit more seasoning. The soup base was nice. However I would appreciate actual meat pieces in the soup and not all cut up dumpling taking up the whole container. Stew peas were good. The curry goat roti had a but too much salt for me, but the flavour and spice was there. Jerk pork would be the go-to meal.
