Mandarin Restaurant

Extremely disappointed with the buffet as a vegan. Went for my brother in laws birthday and I read up on the restaurant before hand: salad bar, cucumber maki roll, fruit for vegan options of you can ask to have rice and steamed vegetable made to order. Service was exceptional - our server was quick to take the plates and very friendly . No problem with the staff but the buffet was definitely lacking IMO. The salad bar had dressings and toppings but no lettuce or spring mix? Very weird and confusing. Not sure why there are salad dressings or toppings if you can no longer build your own salad. The only green salads they had were a spring mix with an oil based dressing on top and a pre mixed cesar dressing. Disappointing. I always enjoy the Mandarin as I can get my monies worth but it was impossible today. Please offer plain mixed greens or lettuce in the future.

Most of them were nice but I want to thank Michael, a server at Mandarin, for his exceptional service during my visit. He was kind, attentive, and ensured everything I requested was delivered promptly. His warm smile and professionalism made my dining experience truly enjoyable. I deeply appreciated his excellent customer service!

We celebrated a birthday for my mother-in-law here. Here's a tip if you register your email and birthday online you will get a free buffet voucher (lunch or dinner) as long as dine in with 3 paying people. I live close to this restaurant and they are very successful. The variety of food is diverse and all the dishes I tried were delicious. The soups were fresh and hearty. There's hot n sour, Clam chowder, egg drop soup. The grill section had roast beef, mashed potatoes, grilled chicken, sausage, pineapple, pizza, bacon, etc. Theres a small sushi bar section offering maki rolls, sashimi, and seaweed salad. The cooked food section offered many hot delectable options. Some of my favourites were the honey garlic pork spareribs, baked salmon, torpedo shrimp, breaded shrimps, calamari, fried chicken wings, stir fried green beans, sauteed broccoli, etc. The servers refilled water and cleared the plates efficiently. The birthday celebrant also got a free photo and birthday song played from a portable speaker. Overall, a very pleasant experience and surprised ai have visited here more often since I live nearby. I recommend this restaurant as there are many delicious food items to choose from.

Great food and great service! There just the right amount of options; not too much and not too little so that you can get a taste of everything. The decor is beautiful and the staff are all really friendly. The birthday boy (my dad) was happy and so was my wallet because his meal was free :)

Nice surprise meal with family at Mandarin for the first time in a long time. From the front reception, to our server Gigi, the nice manager and singing chef, everyone was very welcoming, pleasant and made the lunch better. Good selection of food and I left very full.

It’s been a long time since I last came. I used to come less often because I felt that the Chinese food at Mandarin was too Westernized and not authentic enough. This time, after a long break, I find the taste has improved a lot and is much more authentic. So, I’d like to recommend it.

This is by far the best Chinese Buffet that i bean to for a long time. The service is royal ! The give hot mini towel when you arrive and leave! Very fast to clean the table and bring water. Very kind and helpful for people with disabilities. All you can drink soft drink when you order one. So many choices of food ! I liked everything, the ribs, multiples choices of shrimp, 3 dessert tables ! And a soft ice cream machine and toping ! Stop by and eat there !

So worth it, it’s a seven course meal! I love the variety! Excellent service. Make reservation, they do get busy!
