Wickie's Pub And Restaurant (Grove Location)

I visited Wickie’s Bar and Restaurant today, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing, particularly with the kitchen service. I ordered a burger, which arrived on an already used plate—not the most appetizing presentation. Deciding to give it a chance, I noticed no spread on the burger, so I requested some mayonnaise. It took 10 minutes before I was informed that the cook had stepped out, and another 5 minutes passed before the cook returned. By that time, my burger had already gone cold.

Went recently for the first time to play some Scrabble. The beef dip sandwich was the best I've had in Barrie, and fries were on point. Service was good, and food came out fast and fresh. Can't wait to try out the rest of the menu

The place was very clean and good service. However a few issues... They charge you for refills on pop, which is fine... But they should let you know prior. Another issue is when they forget to ask you what dipping sauce you'd like with your wings and just serve you blue cheese. When you tell them you don't like blue cheese and would rather have ranch.... But then they charge you for it... Not right. The wings and the fries were very good, dry Cajun and Honey garlic.

This is a great place to get some finger licking good in Barrie. They also are one of the few options open until 12 am in Barrie, most of the town shuts down by 9. The food does lack in deep flavours, but the hospitality of the staff makes up for it. Also amazing portions. I definitely recommend the waffle potato chips with toppings!

Been to Burton location oodles of times, heard of this new location and here we are... Ordered wings and salad that I eventually had to take home. If ever you ever thought a salad can't fill you, you must try a bowl here. When I saw our waitress come towards us with our dishes in hand, I shook with adrenaline. The bowl was deeply filled with crisp spears of romaine lettuce, abundance of fresh grated parmesan cheese, mixed in rich creamy ceasar dressing, and of course a good amount of, my favourite, the bacon of carbs, the cookies of salads, THE reason to eat salads, CROUTONS !!! ❤😋 As I work on the salad I naturally didn't want to neglect my wings and grabbed one in my free hand. I reach food orgasm as I bite down on the perfectly breaded wings coated with sweet Thai chilli sauce, the tiny sounds of crunch with every bite so satisfying. I take every shred of meat off until I clean the bone 💦 Loved, loved this place 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Size does matter

The service here was great. We chose to sit on the patio as it was a beautiful day. The patio is spotless, shinny and new. The furniture they have chosen for the space is very comfortable. Would be nice to have a fireplace table though for the evenings to sit around for a few beverages. I ordered the Ruben without the sauerkraut and swiss cheese! So basically a grilled corn beef sandwich which I enjoy thoroughly. I don't know why that's something they couldn't have on the menu as well so people don't have to modify. There was a generous amount of corned beef in the sandwich. The person I was with enjoyed their burger what's the side Caesar salad. We both ended up taking the proverbial doggy bag home as we could not finish her food. Overall an 8 out of 10. Would have been nice if there was music on the patio.

This place just opened yesterday. It is clearly very professionally run, the servers have been well trained, the food is decent. The patio is huge and the decor and atmosphere is really well done. Once I had a server I was well taken care of. The wings were delicious. Large juicy, tasty, and imho better than St Louis. The Yorkshire pudding appetizer was mediocre. In any case, this place is really good looking and I can't wait to see them get into their groove. I hope they do well!
