Valentino's Restaurant - Westdale

I've been to this location and the one on Stoney Creek Mountain many times. Easily one of the best Italian restaurants. Their panzerotti is my favourite dish on the menu but their pastas and pizzas are great too! They also have a fantastic tomato sauce that you can buy jars of. If it's desserts you are looking for, try their pinch cookies or some gelato!

My family and I love this restaurant - the one in Stoney Creek by the movie theater is great as well. Great service, food's fantastic. Been going here since I was a teenager with my parents, now I take kids of my own, as well as friends and colleagues. Always treated well and feel comfortable. For the office we like to take out the pizza. Pro Tip: They sell cakes and other pastries. For birthdays and other special events we get them to make us cakes - their Millefoglie cake is amazing. Make sure you plan ahead with your order. Perfection like that isn't instant - but worth it.

Kids wanted pasta , n pasta they got . Overall food is good not the wow factor , pizza was a big failure:( but the risotto made up for it . Service was not present took the order and served the food . The floor the table and seats were dirty we had to ask the waitress to wipe down before we sat down.

My husband and I tried Valentino’s for the first time this evening and we loved it! We didn’t have a reservation so we sat at the bar where we had excellent service. We split a small Caesar salad which was plenty for 2, I had manicotti with tomato sauce and my husband had lasagna with meat sauce. Everything was exceptional including the service! Will definitely be back :)

Dinner with friends at Valentino's Westdale was with mixed reviews. The food and service was, as always, top notch, but the restaurant was very noisy and it was difficult to have a conversation without raising our voices over the other guests. Sadly, that was the takeaway. Our server was excellent, checking in often and without pressure. The pizza, risotto, and chicken parms that we ordered were tasty and cooked perfectly. Valentino's shines with their desserts, I think, and we couldn't leave without ordering a few. My Italian Coffee was a lukewarm, but that is to be expected I suppose with all of that fresh, cold whipped cream on top! Still so good. Bonus points for extremely clean bathrooms that smelled like strawberry.

Great local restaurant with a fantastic lunch menu. Combined with an outing to the Westdale movie theatre nearby. The panzerotti special on Tuesday is great - love how the center has a small hole to show the toppings you ordered.

Went for lunch with a friend. Service was a bit slow today, lunch took about 1.5 hours, I didn't have anything planned today so I enjoyed the atmosphere and very clean restaurant. It is a small restaurant, definitely holds less than 100 guests, see picture I took. She got the house salad with their housemade dressing, and the veggie pizza. She liked the salad, I really like the dressing, the salad is kind if plain, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onions, no croutons. She has ordered that pizza before, and recommends you substitute the regular tomatoes for sun-dried one. She complained about having enough pizza for lunch tomorrow, I laughed. I had the minestrone soup special, it tasted good but came with too many chickpeas, reminds me of the one East Side Marios had. I ordered the spaghetti, tomato sauce with hot paste added, with chicken, I asked for extra sauce, got too much, see picture, I didn't mind. The sauce had a good flavour and spice to it. It came with real chicken breast, not the super processed stuff in a McCrispy or a Subway chicken. They give you free bread, although most young kids still ask for the garlic bread app when I go. Ordered the diet Pepsi, not sure if the syrup was running out but didn't have a strong taste, I will probably order a different drink next time.

We came here on Valentine’s Day. Great service, and even better food! We had arancini as an appetizer, starter salads and pastas for our mains. We also got dessert to go! Everything was incredible. Only complaint is that there was a crying baby next to us the entire meal. We had headaches when we left. Edit: Here again for dinner! We reserved a spot on the patio and it was lovely. They recently renovated it so it’s very very nice. Food was incredible again!
