Uncle Sam's BBQ Smoke House

After eating here four times I’m now ready for the review. Needed to sample different dishes and all were amazing. It’s hard to find a good BBQ like you find in the southern states. Uncle Sam’s BBQ holds up to its name. Portions are generous and flavour-able. Between the pulled pork, pulled chicken and Cuban sandwiches to the brisket bowl, 3-meat platter and their poutines, everything has been amazing. The Philly Cheesesteak was so big you gotta go on an empty stomach. I asked for my smash burger to be made a little differently and added sautéed onions and brisket topped with cheese. Just an amazing burger. I would put Uncle Sam’s on par with Big D’s BBQ in Branson Missouri. Good southern BBQ is now here in Canada. The staff is super friendly which is another reason I don’t mind the half hour drive along the QEW each visit has been fantastic and we will be back. It’s a casual spot with only a small eat-in area but a great place to bring more friends who also love some fantastic BBQ.

Very nice place , delicious food , big portions , very friendly & polite staff and good prices - we had the BBq spare ribs with sweet potato’s & a homemade sauce and a soup that was so delicious perfect fit for the cold weather . totally recommend the place !

It was very easy to give Uncle Sam's BBQ Smoke House a five star. I was met with amazing friendly hospitality and service. The prices are reasonable and the portions are hefty. Try their BBQ sauce (smokey sweet ) even their fries are tops. Kept eating them after I was full. Fresh hardwood around the store waiting for the smoker, great atmosphere,this might become my number one place👍👍👍👍👍

We love good barbecue and this was an Excellent lunch yesterday. The Cuban sandwich with a bowl of soup was an incredible deal for $9.99 and the soup was just as good as the sandwich. The lunchtime chicken and ribs combo was delicious - I already loved their chicken but it was my first time trying the ribs. An incredible amount of food! Same goes for my son’s loaded brisket poutine. The brisket pieces were large and had lots of tasty burnt ends in it. We were all super happy with our meals, the service was also very good - they are super friendly - and I have enough leftovers for my lunch break at work today. Highly recommended!

UPDATE! Since our first visit in April, we've had the Barbecue Box for a family event, which was an outstanding value. And we were back again with friends this past weekend. We corrected our rookie error from the first visit of not getting cornbread and went with the 2 meat combo again. So satisfying, so filling, and I'll say it again, great value! July 12, 2024 J & C & C & J ORIGINAL REVIEW: Really great experience on our first visit to Uncle Sam's for lunch this Saturday. We've tried BBQ at other restaurants and enjoyed it, so we were keen to visit. There is quite a bit of indoor seating and a patio as well for nicer days. We shared the 2 meat combo with ribs and pulled pork as the meats, and both of us were full. The baked beans are absolutely delicious. Our only mistake was not getting cornbread to mop up the beans and barbecue sauce. The portions are generous. For the quantity served in the meal we had and the quality - extremely delicious - I feel they are doing a great job of providing value. Food (especially meat) has gotten very expensive, but the folks at Uncle Sam's are trying hard to offer their outstanding food at a reasonable price. Another local small business worth supporting! Had to try out this Texan Smokehouse in the Creek and glad I did. Ordered the rib and chicken combo, ribs were super tender and delicious including the chicken and loved the BBQ sauce and the smokey flavor. My kids ordered the chicken tenders and poutine and they loved it. The Staff are very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it.

We have ordered from here multiple times during their opening week and have not been disappointed. I had the half rack with fries, loaded brisket mac and cheese and the Philly Cheesesteak. The ribs were excellent, huge with a nice smoke taste and delicious BBQ sauce. The brisket and mac and cheese was very good and plentiful with the serving being enough for two. The Philly Cheesesteak was massive and pretty tasty, definitely worth the money. I would have to say the ribs were my favourite. The only side I have tried are the fries and they were pretty good. I have also had the single Smash Burger recently and it was delicious. The bun they use is perfect and toasted just right.
