From this simple dockside idea 3 decades ago, Turtle Jack’s has continued to build on the tradition of creating memorable moments with a fresh, savoury menu that includes award-winning ribs, signature wings, unforgettable burgers and creative cocktails. We went for our anniversary celebration and ordered fettuccine Alfredo pasta and blackened chicken dinner plate. Both dishes tasted bland, no salt, food was served cold, the pasta was so chewy, the portion size was very small. We only liked the garlic shrimps in our starters which was cooked in butter however the quantity was again very less. The server wasn’t smiling and not welcoming, after we sat for some drinks and starters, she was in a rush to get the main course order even though the kitchen was not closing. I would not visit them again.

I'm not sure where to even start! Beautiful newly Renovated restaurant with a vibe that won't disappoint. From the minute we walked in greeted by Hanna and allowed us to sit near the fireplace as requested. The BEST burger I've ever had and yes I'm a foodie. The service was even better. Ask for Sofia as this young lady has a bright future! Worth the drive from Guelph to Hamilton. I can't say enough great things about our visit. OUTSTANDING!!

It was my birthday when I went to Turtle Jack’s and my waiter Maya was absolutely amazing. She was super nice and tolerated my grandpa spending years ordering his lobster and even bringing him a new lobster when his was slightly over cooked. It wasn’t the loudest there either and I could clearly hear my family speak while the food was also incredible. I got a Top Sirloin Steak and thought only good things. I really do recommend this Turtle Jack’s and if your waiter is Maya, you are gonna have 5 star service. -Rupert

Dined this evening with a couple of friends and our server (Pascal?) was great!! I ordered the big wing sandwich with a Caesar salad. The chicken was a large piece and nicely cooked but it was a little too saucy for my liking that it slipped around on the bun. The Caesar salad was a decent portion but again too much dressing for my liking (and I like Caesar salad!). I’ve been to this location a few times and will definitely come back but if I order either item again I’ll ask for a little less dressing and sauce.

Had a great meal. I got blackened chicken on Naan. I get this every time, and I wasn't disappointed. The server named Maya was really great. She took our orders and was very nice, even joked a little with us. She asked how our meal was at the right time (not during our first bite, which I find a lot at restaurants). It was delicious. She even recommended a dessert to share, and it was so yummy. Thank you, Maya, for your recommendations and great service.

Our dinner was great but the best part about this experience was the service!!! Our server Pascal was an angel. She was so attentive and understanding, giving us the opportunity to make choices but also giving us her suggestions that turned out to be such wins! The whipped feta was light but delicious, and the NY Chicken Dinner was the perfect amount of spice. The fish and chips was so filling that I only ended up eating the 1 piece. Because it was both my friend and I's birthdays, she gave us both free Birthday desserts. She filled up our waters and soda's plenty of times, to the point we did not need to ask her for any refills. This typically does not happen for me, as I am a fast liquid drinker but I really appreciated her attention to detail and her overall consideration for our time.

We got the French dip and a bacon cheeseburger. The French dip was $23 didn't come with cheese, mushrooms or onions, those were all an added cost. So the way it came as a default was flavourless and rather small, making for poor value. The Caesar salad was good and fresh. The burger was okay, something about the meat didn't wow me, it was oddly flavourless meat but the toppings helped make up for that. Service was good.

I haven't been to this location in quite a few years and I must say it was a much better experience than I had previously. We had a party of 14 and they were very accommodating with us and the children. The decor inside is warm and feels very natural with a lot of really nice wooden accents. Our server and others were very friendly and always willing to help when we had a question. The price was pretty average for what you would expect at a steakhouse type chain. The food tasted pretty good, most of the party was pleased. Would definitely return here 👍
