We visited this location before Christmas to get together with some friends before Christmas and typically Turtle Jacks has been good, but this visit was not so good.. we received the wrong beers and staff would not exchange it saying its what we ordered and the food was not very good either.. had the Kung Pao and it had very little flavoured.. the chicken tasted like it was boiled and then added to the dish. The atmosphere was nice and will probably come back again as their wings are good.

Food was mediocre and my drinks were made wrong , the bartender even argued with me about the drinks when I told her that my espresso martini was supposed to have baileys in it and the other drinks had way too much syrup , at $15 a cocktail they should be at least made the way it says on the menu

The vibe is amazing, the drinks menu is cool too. However the food is not great. They can definitely work on improving the food taste. The other thing they can work on improving is the cleanliness of glasses and dishes. They look very old and have white spots on them. Which clearly indicates how old they are. Their service was good and friendly. The Christmas decorations were amazing. Evening well spent. Thank you,

I stopped in to meet a friend for lunch during the week. Great restaurant and atmosphere. The service was really good and our waitress checked in on us several times to make sure we were fine. The menu is good with several options. Their wings are my favourite item on the menu but they also have some great salad and sandwich options.

We went for an after work early dinner last week. I arrived at 4:20 and my 2 coworkers had already ordered their beverages. After looking on the table for the happy hour food & beverage menu, I asked the waitress if she can bring us a HH menu so we can take a look. She looked at her watch and stood there looking at us, saying under her breath something about how it was getting late. We reassured her we have plenty of time to order and would be quick to order. She returned with the HH menu and said that she had gotten confused with the time, as she generally works the after 6:00 p.m. shift and doesn't "have to worry about that". She informed my friend who had ordered a beer that she would change the pricing to reflect HH menu. Food: We all ordered the same thing - the Kung Pao Bowl and we each added chicken. I was looking forward to it because I have eaten at the TJ @ Mapleview and the food (and service) were both excellent. We all agreed it was very bland and very watery (photo's attached) and that it seemed like the garlic ginger soy sauce was not added to the dish, or very sparingly added. We asked for more sauce and it was brought out to us about 10-12 mins later. Again our waitress seemed annoyed with us for asking for more sauce. I also requested more noodles as I barely had any and with it being so watery I thought at least some more noodles would make it a little more enjoyable to eat. We were all quite hungry and had eaten most of our bowl by the time the extra sauce was delivered. This was definitely not a properly prepared Kung Pao bowl which any simple simple Google images search will show. The sauce did make a difference but didn't help the fact that it was so watery. Overall, it was unfortunately a very disappointing experience and I would be inclined to visit the Mapleview location in future.

Compared to other chains and other local restaurants, this place is over rated. Food quality and variety is disappointing. And way over priced.

First & Last time! We were seated right away in the bar dining area. Server arrived quickly to offer drinks. We ordered an appetizer - server offered our appetizer to the wrong table. (Chips & Guac…few chips and 1/2 pita cut up). It became obvious that EVERY table in our area (who arrived before us) didn’t have their food yet, seemed odd. And so our main course wait began. Server apologized, said it would be right up, it wasn’t. One table had their food served - food server placed the meal awkwardly on the edge of the table. Then the next table - something was amiss, table not happy, server apologized offered bill credit. Third table, got their food - time delay between the two meals (2 people) - again seemed odd. 55min later - our food arrived. Fish & chips was soggy not crispy. French onion soup salad combo seemed about right (1xtra star), the mashed potatoe add on dish was very tippy and all salt at the bottom of the dish, chicken finger meal - my daughter only gets this everywhere we go - got a - it’s dry and hard. (Overcooked) Buffalo chicken wrap also got a thumbs up (2nd star), last meal was underwhelming - also a wrap/COLD. Our original server was replaced, all business now, dessert? No, we’re done! Same motion bill presented $150+18%tip 👎🏻😡(5 people no drinks) Major kitchen delays, food mediocre. Disappointing night out for me and my girls.

Good! Turtle Jacks is one of my favourite restaurant chains and this location does not disappoint. Great atmosphere with plenty of seating both inside and outside. The food is consistent and solid every single time. I’d recommend the four cheese pasta, it’s always a hit! Great for groups of all sizes. I’ve never had any issues here and definitely will keep coming back!
