Ordered delivery via ubereats and right off the bat I had a complaint: their meals don’t come with coleslaw. What Caribbean meals don’t come with coleslaw?! And they sell it for almost 4 bucks as a side.. CRAZY. I got the oxtail meal. Comes with rice and peas, gungo peas(yum) and warm veggies. The flavour is really good but the oxtail needed to cook for another 2 hrs. Too much gravy for the amount of rice. There are no good Caribbean places in York region, but I did just hear that @rosheis_kitchen from instagram just moved to York region but they only open on weekends.

Great great great service. Came back a second time as I was passing through the area. The food is good waaaaaaay better than those other Caribbean restaurants. So if u looking for Flava it deh deh real talk... how can i forget ... the place cleeeeaaan ...

I’ve ordered catering for 30 people and 6 people before and we’ve pickup food for home - Bonnie, her daughter, and staff are amazing. They’re so kind and very passionate about the food. Customer service is exceptional. It’s so easy to book catering and ordering in store is quick. The food is amazing. The fried chicken, jerk chicken, coleslaw, oxtail… goat, chicken roti… all of it is soooo good. I would give it a 10 out of 5.

I'm not sure what restaurant the other reviewers are going to but food was pretty average at very best. Had the jerk chicken roti had to be microwaved to heat up. Still was kind of cool. Patty, same thing so had hard edges. 25 bucks for a pop roti and Patty is a bit of a stretch for substandard food. Only saving Grace was the staff was very pleasant and upbeat. Better choices out there in Newmarket for sure

I dont usually write NEGATIVE reviews but this one really does need to be shared. Me and my fiance got lunch from here YESTERDAY . We both left and felt sickness in less than 2hrs. He felt mild symptoms of sickness. I GOT FOOD POISONED after we ate the jerk chicken with rice and steamed veggies . Something about the food tasted old and fowl. Especially the chicken it tasted odd. I have been extremely sick since yesterday evening i feel all the symptoms of getting food poisoned. Will never return to this place again. Please watch the freshness, quality and hold times of all your products it will help your customers enjoy the experience. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMING TO THIS PLACE ITS A HEALTH HAZARD.

I've never given a review like what I'm about to give. I have eaten twice here now, and was so happy to find a west Indian food place in the neighbourhood. Well last night took a very BAD turn. I love curry goat roti. This one tasted great, but I just had the worst night of my life. I got food poisoning. The pain I just endured, till 8am this morning (the next day), was rivaled only by the kidney stones I had years ago. I never want either experience ever again, so to that end, I will never be going back here again. The young man working here was very personable, but clearly something was off, or corners were cut. I would spare you the suffering I just endured. This is hard for me, because I love west Indian food, and would probably have eaten here at least once a week. My memory of this place insures I'll never be back, regardless of how personable, the people working there were/are.

I had the absolute delight of meeting Bonnie today and trying Tropical Breeze. I ordered the mini oxtail and couldn't have been more amazed when I tried it. You can smell the amazing flavours before you even walk in, so I was excited right away. I can't wait to try everything on the menu.

Delicious! We ordered the Curry Chicken Roti and Curry Chicken with Rice and Peas. The curry is flavourful and perfectly prepared. Each dish had a lot of chicken and just enough potato, chickpeas and rich gravy…so good! Bonnie the owner is a gem. Her passion and pride for preparing home style Caribbean food comes through in every bite. We will definitely be back to feast on the jerk chicken and everything else on the menu!
