Jollof rice was really tasty, so flavorful that I could totally eat it by itself. I do feel like the portions are kinda small for the price.

This will be the one (and only time) I attempt to order from here. Booked the order yesterday close to noon for nearly 24 hours from the time we ordered it (12-1pm). Was very much looking forward to it and paid $70 ahead of time just for our order to be cancelled last minute and not refunded. Still waiting for the money. This is NOT the way you get repeat customers. I won't even bother again. Now I'm hungry, out $70 and no food on the way. Set food aside for orders. Shameful business. **edit** Just called to get our money back. 3-10 business days SMH. $70 is not a small amount and now we have to wait for our money? You shouldn't be taking people's money in the 1st place if you don't have the product in which people are buying. Do better.

We enjoyed a lovely family dinner at the new location. The service was very welcoming, the price is very reasonable, and the food was unmatched!! We travelled from Toronto for this. I highly recommend the efo riro with pounded yam and chicken!! Thanks y’all! 😊

I’m short of words. I never eat pounded yam if not my mama made it but this is the best I have eaten outside my mama! I give this 12/10 rating! I came from Toronto to have this, you must give this a try!

This cost me $23 + tax = 25.99, I was charged $27. The chicken is literally burnt. The food was edible but wasn't nothing outstanding. I asked the person what's the best and most popular, and this is what was recommended. How can you expect to charge people this much for a tiny container like this! The place next door sold me goat curry with rice and coleslaw for $14.99, so more food for way less. How do you expect to keep any customers like this?

We tried the rice boat at a festival, and we both said it was delicious and flavourful. It is worth a try if you see them at a festival or come across their restaurant. We will visit their restaurant location in the future to try out their other dishes.

Me and my family came here to dine yesterday evening and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The staff were so friendly, after greeting us with smiling faces they were quick to accommodate our needs, we had a group of 8 and everyone wanted to try everything so they provided us with a family style dining to make the experience that much more enjoyable. The dishes were truly authentic to Nigeria, the flavors, spices, and atmosphere made you taste and feel like you were in West Africa, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. In the heart of Hamilton they certainly contribute to the unique and diverse community that is James Street, I highly recommend anyone to try it out. Our favorite dishes were egusi with pounded yam, the jollof rice ofcourse, the fish was absolutely to die for and perfectly paired with zoba drink. We will absolutely be back and will be recommending to our friends and family.

Can confirm, tastes like Lagos <3 Suya steak is good value, good sized portion. Was reluctant because no reviews. I'm happy to be the first. Try for yourself!
