The Waubic Restaurant (BOAT ACCESS ONLY) is a new restaurant in Lake Simcoe opened more than 6 months ago.
Sitting atop the Trent Severn Waterway, The Waubic is an energetic, friendly, family operated restaurant. It has been providing guests with a unique dining experience and great home cooking since 1913. Such rich history is present within it’s walls, and while the owners and style of cuisine has changed many times over the past hundred plus years, the charm and appeal has remained. On any given day The Waubic docks can be a sea of boats, planes, jet skis, kayaks and canoes. Some come for a meal, some come for cocktails and a day in the sun, while others come and stay for a relaxing few days on their boat or our Bayhouse. They all however, come to enjoy great food, personal service and a serene experience on the water.

We stopped in for dinner on the patio with the dog. Staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Food arrived quick and hot. Several staff members checked on us throughout our meal. The Waubic Back Bacon Cheeseburger was huge. The back bacon was thicker then the burger, and the onion rings are a must. Will definitely stop by again when we are in the area.

Grabbed takeout. Ate it where we docked the boat, as we had our dogs and the patio was packed. Great spot. Awesome food. Comfortable environment. Amazing spots to dock boat. Happy we stopped on our way through!

We came here on our last night at the cottage . What a fun place !! Just felt relaxed and calm . The staff was accommodating and friendly . We enjoyed some chats with the locals and we especially loved Bruce . ♥️ Being in the industry , the logistics of this restaurant are impressive. Job well done everyone !! Have a wonderful summer season !! Thanks again !!

Superb. Absolutely incredible place. Very busy, first come first serve, but well worth the effort to get there, and waiting for a table. The BEST restaurant on the Trent, hands down, anywhere from Orillia to Port Severn, believe me, I know

Great little restaurant and bar. We always look forward to going up the marine railway on the trent severn waterway. They have the best fish and chips ever. Cold beer and much more. Good dockage. Always confirm their hours that they are open. Bruce the dog is always happy to see you. They have a great menu with plenty of choices to ponder and the prices are decent.. Very friendly staff. A must try.

Nice little gem on the lake! Great boat house restaurant to chill and eat! Friendly staff and delicious food! Wait time was over an hour during weekends, but worth a try if you are not in a rush. Overall a great experience!

Our absolute favourite place on the Trent!! Food… amazing. Service… outstanding. Views… perfect! Can’t say enough about this destination. It’s a long haul for us to make it from Friday Harbour in a day and back… so we leave to make the first lock when it opens. Highly recommend!
