The Stone Corner Pub

I recently visited this restaurant with my friend for dinner on December 30, 2024, and we were very disappointed with the customer service. There seemed to be a shortage of servers, which resulted in long wait times and further diminished the quality on service. My friend's food came out before mine and I waited another 15min. for my food to arrive. I asked the waiter to add on a salad not knowing it would come after I was full from eating my dinner. My friends burger was served with 2 bottom of the buns. I cant lie I ordered the rib and wing combo and it tasted good. We enjoyed the wings. I believe because of the shortage of staff, we were not checked on to see if we were good at the table. I held my tongue up until I got the bill. I noticed that I was charged incorrectly for several items on my bill. The manager did remove the item but their digital menu and the menu in the restaurant did not have the correct prices. When I questioned the waiter on why the menus online and in restaurant are different, she proceeds to tell me that she took off $5.00 for the fries like she did me a favor. I asked if the fries could be substituted, so it shouldn't have been charged in the first place! I asked to speak to the manager and asked why is there is different prices for the digital and in restaurant menus and he proceeds to tell me that it is an old menu from the previous owner. This added to the frustration and left me feeling dissatisfied with the overall service. I believe that customer service and accurate billing are crucial aspects of any restaurant, and these incidents were disappointing. I hope the management addresses these issues and ensures that all staff members are trained to handle customer interactions with respect and professionalism, and that billing procedures are reviewed for accuracy and update digital menu because it is false advertisement.

I’ve been to this pub a few times over the years. Our most recent dining experience was disappointing. The pancakes were tough, and came with two sad pieces of bacon. The nachos barely had any cheese, and the paper they were served on melted into the chips. Server seemed bothered by us. Only good thing is their prices.

This is the 1st time into this location. I went to have a brunch with my family for labour day weekend, I was so dissapointed. The food was not warm enough and took long time . one of the order Canadian Burger breakfast menu, the egg, bacon and cheese was not with the order but in the menu, we mention to the server she went in spoke to the cook only answer was sorry. It was a very bad experince no more and no recomand this place to anyone

One of the best pubs in Durham. Everything I’ve had here has been delicious including brunch. Huge wings, better than franchise ones. Love the very friendly staff :)

This place is the best!! Food was amazing and our server named Daniella was absolutely wonderful! She was super efficient and extremely sweet, definitely made our experience delightful! Will be back!

I dined at the Stone Corner Pub for dinner and indulged in the Spicy Sausage and Chicken Penne, which was absolutely delectable. The price was reasonable, and the service exceeded my expectations. I look forward to returning for another delightful experience with this dish!

The Stone Corner Pub is very good and the food is very tasty and the employee's are very friendly. The food prices are very cheap and pub is very clean. My family and I have gone here a few times and we love it and it is very quiet.
