The Samosa Master especially Mr. Chintan Patel charged tax on items exempt under Bill C-78 (Dec-Feb tax break). Other retailers honoured this law. Urge management to comply and customers to check receipts carefully.

I come here at least twice per week and they make the BEST samosas. There’s no question about it.

5/5 stars! I recently tried Samosa Master and was thoroughly impressed! The vada pav was crispy and flavorful, and the samosas were perfectly spiced and crunchy. The sandwiches were also a delight, with fresh ingredients and just the right balance of flavors. What stood out was the quality and consistency across all items - everything was made with love and care. Definitely recommend Samosa Master for a delicious and satisfying snack! Will be back for more!

BURNT SAMOSAS. Inedible. I purchased 25 chicken samosas, half of which were somehow badly burnt on the inside. I took the burnt ones (untouched) back to the store a week later, I showed them the receipt and date stamped pictures of the burnt ones that I had opened up. The store worker and owner refused to give me an exchange or credit, they said I should have called them right away when I got home. They said that had I bought them back earlier they might haven been able to sell them again. I don't see how because they're inedible. After this encounter I questions their food safety standards. They couldn't care less that they sold me an inedible item. This is a shame because I use to frequently shop there for grocery items, but I don't trust their food safety and hygiene after this very unpleasant situation. Please be wary, the owners are out to make a quick buck rather than a long term commitment to serving their customers. Edited to address owner's response: I was calm and respectful to the staff in store and owner over the phone. The staff didn't even bother to look at the samosas I brought back, which were fully intact and untouched. The owner refused to listen and rudely shut me down immediately. I question their food safety/hygiene because the owner suggested the inedible samosas could have been a result of a problem with their oil. I admit I should have come in sooner but regardless whether I came in the same day or a week later, they sold me samosas that were strangely badly burnt on the inside (see photos) and did not care. Poor customer service, bad quality control, and questionable food safety/hygiene are the reasons for this 1-star review. I fully support local small businesses and have been a regular patron of theirs since they were operating out of their basement apartment on Facebook. As a small business owner myself, I know how important it is to provide good quality products and to take care of your customers. Unfortunately, The Samosa Master does not.

The best samosas I've ever had, if your going get the variety with 12!! I loved the whole experience, groceries, sandwiches and more. They have so much there! The owner was making the food and she was so friendly and sweet! I will absolutely be going back to try more!

Came all the way up from Toronto love their chicken, beef or lamb. They’re amazing. Spring rolls are also excellent.

The samosas were decent and the price was also pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Proximity wise, we are closer to many of the places in Scarborough with good samosas, but those in this area with the absence of other places to choose from, Samosa Master could be a good option.

Great tasting samosas & great customer service 👌🏼The samosas are on the slightly smaller side, but are very tasty. I ordered a mixed 6 piece (veggie and meat) samosa bag, although they ran out of the lamb option, which was fine by me. My favourite samosa was the potato and pea one, followed by the spinach one. I found the one sauce that it came with to be quite small and not enough for 6 samosas. There was an additional .75 cent charge for an additional sauce, which I had to put on my debit as I didn’t have any change and had already paid for my original order. Both sauces are very tasty - the brown sweeter sauce is probably my favourite of the two - The other one being a green, slightly spicier sauce. The store itself is a little bland, but the friendly warm smiles of the owners make up for it. Overall 4/5 stars and looking forward to coming back and trying other items on their menu.
