The Roost is a cozy neighbourhood café located in a beautiful century home in the heart of King City. We are a magical oasis to gather with friends, meet with business associates, settle in with a book, or simply enjoy our beautiful backyard ravine view. Our locally-roasted coffee is handcrafted by our trained baristas providing an exceptional coffee experience. Our food consists of lovingly-made traditional café fare: soups, salads, sandwiches and treats made in-house daily. We pride ourselves on our large selection of delicious, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and alternative options. Come experience all that The Roost Café has to offer. We have something for everyone. The Roost Café has a charming and cozy atmosphere-it's definitely a cute spot to relax. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. We ordered two sandwiches, but only one arrived. By the time we finished our coffee, I had to go up and remind them about the missing sandwich. They apologized and eventually brought it out, but it took a while. The food itself wasn't very tasty, and while the coffee was okay, it didn't make up for the slow service. Overall, it's a pretty place to visit, but the experience fell flat due to the service and food quality.

We had a delightful brunch at The Roost Cafe in King City, Ontario. The granola parfait was a highlight—packed with flavorful, crunchy granola, creamy yogurt, and fresh, juicy berries. The carrot cake was equally impressive, with moist and fresh spongecake topped with smooth and light buttercream. Both paired perfectly with iced coffee and a latte. The cafe's dining room is colorful and has a charming countryside vibe. We especially loved sitting outside on the deck or in the backyard, surrounded by nature. It is an excellent spot for a relaxing brunch!

Free parking on the street. Nice backyard available for take-aways. If you want service, you need to sit inside or balcony. Might be a bit disturbed by trains passing by once in a while. Overall great experience.

What a gem of a cafè! ☕️💎 Such a cute little coffee house, located in King City. Everything from the beautiful scenery and sitting spaces - to the hand-crafted ceramic mugs - to the delicious GF treats - this cafè really knows what they’re doing and how to make their customers happy 😊 There’s even a long bike rack for cyclists, which is very handy for us when we stop for coffee on our ride 👌🏽😍🚴🏽♂️🚴🏽♀️🚴🏻🤩👌🏽

One of my favourite cafes! Everything is great about this place! The coffee and pastries are excellent, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere with the backyard patio is incredible!
