Hogan's Restaurant

The atmosphere was cozy with a warm ambiance. However the service and food was a bit disappointing. We were really excited to try out this place due to the reviews but it turned out to be a poor experience. The fried calamari and shrimp was tasty. However, we weren't even halfway done when the server came back and asked if she could take the dish away. It was obvious we were still eating and it just seemed odd. I ordered the steak sandwich medium rare and it came out medium well. It was very tough and didn't sit well with my tummy, so I ended up just having a few bites. The server first commented it was because I had it sitting for a while. I was like no it was overcooked, that is why it was sitting and I wasn't eating it. If she would have checked in sooner, she would have seen. Then she asked me if I would like her to take off half for it. I found it weird she was asking me instead of offering to do this as an offer of goodwill. It was just a weird customer service experience. They did end up taking it off the bill, but the approach and defensive behavior was not a pleasant experience. To top it off, I had ordered a tea and they brought it in a broken teapot which was chipped and caused the tea to spill everywhere when being poured. Overall, I was very disappointed in the service and experience with this place and had higher expectations due to the reviews. Will not be returning.

Lamb chops were incredible. The server was attentive, kind and always available. The atmosphere was gorgeous. Perfect location for any occasion, but a delight for any holiday party. Will definitely return

I have hosted/recommended Hogans for many years now. This place is incredible! The location is great! The staff is amazing. Anna goes above and beyond to take care of anything you need. The best place to host a party in King City

I only have good things to say about Hogan's Inn. The staff are fantastic, so welcoming, attentive, and efficient. Hats off to Anna and staff for helping me host my bridal shower. Anna made great suggestions and made the space look so beautiful. Tables were dressed and had beautiful arrangements. The staff were so friendly and it felt like family. Overall fantastic service. The food was excellent. Guests had a choice for main and they all complimented the food. A lot of the guests would love to return again. I have been to Hogan's multiple times before my bridal shower and they never disappoint. Always so charming. Thank you again to Anna and the staff!

Stopped in here for lunch Back patio was closed for an event….sat on the front patio. Fantastic atmosphere! Two stars were removed for the guys cruising Keele street with their sporty engines…not the establishments fault…just be wary. The food was very nice Roasted red pepper soup was great Grilled calamari was fantastic Steak sandwich was a tale of two halves…one was a super medium well…the other was more on the rare side and a bit too much gristle…knocked it down a star. Service was good

I had my micro wedding reception dinner at Hogan's in Sept 2023. Every stage of the process with them was pleasant, and Anna and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to ensure a perfect evening. The planning meetings were easy and Anna had many helpful suggestions. We had many beautiful spots to take photos, and had the rose room and patio to ourselves. The table was beautifully set up and looked amazing with the place settings. Everyone loved the food, it was spectacular and we were all full at the end of the night. The service was excellent and we were well-accommodated. Thank you so much Hogan's for helping us have the perfect wedding celebration!
