The Port House Social Bar & Kitchen Burlington

We went for Happy Hour. We were seated and then waited 25 minutes for service and nobody came. The bartender indicated there was no Happy Hour on Saturday night. There were sandwich board signs at both entrances advertising Happy Hour and the table next to us had been served Happy Hour, so we asked to speak to the Manager. After waiting a further 5-10 minutes with no service and no Manager we decided to leave. One of our party spoke to the Manager on the way out and all he had to say was "Sorry". I will never return to the Port House for obvious reasons.

I had my company Christmas party in the private room here, and I can’t say enough positive things about our experience. I was a bit nervous after seeing a few negative reviews, but honestly, I couldn’t relate at all. The service was excellent, the food was way better than expected, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Our server, Ashley, was fantastic. she constantly checked in to see if we needed anything, made friendly conversation, and just had an awesome attitude. She was super knowledgeable about the menu and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which made the experience even better! The other server, Leann (I think that was her name), was okay. My only critique would be that she didn’t write down drink orders, which led to some mix-ups. She’d come back a few minutes later and ask again what we needed. Maybe just a training issue. Overall, though, I was really impressed with the food and service. I’ll definitely be returning to this location in the future!

Went for dinner and drinks on Saturday night. Lilly was our server and she was excellent. She was very welcoming and continuously checked in on us. Service was quick and food was delicious. Highly recommended the spinach dip and their new CORN RIBS taste was 10/10 and serving amount was adequate. Will be back and hoping to get a server like Lilly again!

Location and service on point. Amazing view! Service was very good. Server was extremely attentive. Daily specials good value. Had the chicken wings! Definitely a place to checkout for dinner or summer patio season!

Literally the BEST restaurant food I have ever tasted since being in Canada for 7years!! Chef Mo is the best and our waitress was extremely hospitable!! The sauce on the food was amazing!!! I recommend here 💯!! I had a Southwest chicken and my BBF had Cajun Fettuccine Alfredo

The first time we came here for dinner on the patio and drinks we were pleasantly surprised by the patio, food and live music. It was a great experience. We returned a week later with similar expectations and were profoundly disappointed - terrible service (our server was unprofessional and scattered complaining that she had “7 tables to cover”. Um.. only 7 tables and she couldn’t organize herself!!??. Children running wild around the patio while parents scrolled on their phones without a care for other patrons and management didn’t do anything about it. We left after dinner and went somewhere else since our server wasn’t able to even manage a 2nd round of drinks! I wish I could remember her name. We sent a complaint to the restaurant but didn’t hear back. Will I return? Unsure. Fantastic location, decent food (fish & chips were good & vegan options) and live music, but bad service ruined it for us.

I am used to come to the hotel just beside and eat here. But at this time I must say the food improved A LOT! Congrats, wonderful tastes! The beer can be a bit colder ;)!

Came here for Sunday Lunch and just so happens it was Happy Hour. $5 fries are a deal. I loved the calamari. The sauce they put on top is delicious. The added fried jalapeno is a nice touch. Thanks to Sarah for serving us.
