This is a Great Pub! My first time there, but my mom has been going there for 45 years. My wee Irish Nana loved it there too. The food is excellent pub grub at reasonable prices and the staff are wonderful, in particular Michelle, our lovely server. Slainte Poacher! (The Irish toast Slainte = Cheers, and means "To your health")

This place is just top notch! The staff is super nice and easy going, but will stand up and take care of business if someone is becoming a nuisance. Would definitely keep going back!

Went there for the first time on Sunday.. Food was excellent. Service was very friendly. We sat on patio. Met some regular customers and very much enjoyed ourselves. Very fun and nice atmosphere. Will definitely will return.

Great old pub in Burlington. The service is GREAT, friendly atmosphere. A real “where everybody knows your name” kinda place. Food is good. Standard pub food, but well done. The atmosphere is “slightly” old fashioned. But in a charming, British pub kind of way! Highly recommend.

Had lunch with the family. Fantastic french fries, some of the best I have ever had. No fault of the restaurant, but the club sandwich I had had the bacon I am finding everywhere. Way too salty and WAY too smoky. I mean, I LOVE bacon a lot, but the bacon many places are serving is downright gross. Nice place, great staff, amazing selection of beer. And fantastic fries. Would definitely go back.

Still a relaxed atmosphere. Food quality is always good, friendly staff. Great pub pies and fish and Chips. Good things don't change. Great food and staff as always.

I love sitting out on the deck in nice weather with friends. The staff are fantastic. The menu has basic food that is good and reasonably priced where other places priced themselves out of the market. Listening to the conversations in the place it is mostly regulars, which speaks highly of the Poacher.
