This is one of our favourite pubs in the whole region. Always friendly service, great atmosphere, local beers on tap, and real fresh food. When you get a side of vegetables here you can tell that they are fresh, not frozen. Today we had the chili which was just like mom used to make. The Old Familiar is always worth a stop when in Coldwater.

Had lunch today at The Old Familiar on a recommendation and we were not disappointed,I had the homemade burger with fries and my hubby had the Pickerel served with roasted potatoes and veggies both were delicious but to top the experience off our server Brendan was a delight we will be back soon.

Food was good, took about 30 minutes to get our food. Missed a few items, like butter. Took 5 minutes just to get a small cup of butter. 7/10, would recommend, especially the Fish and Chips.

Me and my girlfriend naturally silly and loud. We were cut off way too soon during karaoke night, I limited myself to one lite beer while her and friend drank. We weren't rude, we weren't causing trouble and complimented all the singers and having fun until they cut us off for being us.

This is a nice little small town bar. It's a pretty large establishment with different seating areas. We sat in a booth in the bar section. We tried the fish and chips and wings here, along with their house lager. The food was very good and the service was quick and friendly.

The food was excellent. We had a club sandwich and fish & chips. We were cycling and stopped at this restaurant with our 2.5-year-old toddler. Brandon kindly offered us a back room where our child could nap and filled our water bottles with ice water. Brandon encouraged us to take as much time as we needed to rest. It’s a fantastic place, and we highly recommend it. We’ll definitely return if we’re in the area again.

Came here with my son. I haven't had such a pleasant experience in a long time. The staff were very sweet, we were served by Renee. The beer selection is great. We had the fish and chips and both parts were perfectly done. The decor is on point, the seating is comfortable, and we were lucky to show up on a live music night. We sat in a booth on the restaurant side (there is a side that faces the stage) and the volume of the band was just right. Highly highly recommend!
