The Hearty Hooligan

I just love love love the food here! The atmosphere is always friendly and welcome, which is important for someone like me who has some social anxieties. The staff are always kind and attentive. My go to meals are the Deluxe Pizza Pockets and the Chicken Caesar Wrap and both are very delicious but recently I can't get enough of their BBQ Chicken Rolls! I would highly recommend checking this place out, even if you aren't vegan! Everything is truly delicious and the vibes are so safe and fun!

Great affordable fresh vegan food! We got ice cream, pizza pockets, burrito, mac & cheese and house lemonade! Inside is so cute with games and washroom is so cool decorated! Shout-out to the great staff member who provided such great customer service! They had large spaced ears! I wish I got their name! Hi Hearty Hooligan management, if you’re reading this- they worked the evening shift around 7pm Sun Dec 22! They were fantastic!

What an amazing vegan joint! Such wonderful welcoming vibes for ALL! A safe place full of all the vibes, fun & delicious vegan food! Loved what we got! We stayed in Toronto for vacation but made a special drive out to the Hooligan after SO many local vegans raved about it being the SPOT! And yes, yes, it WAS! What we got: vegan Crunchwrap - was amazing! Super crispy, loaded with vegan crumbles & cheese! Loaded Mac- delicious vegan Mac & cheese with crumbles, chips & allll the toppings! Pepperoni rolls- our FAVE!!! Amazing dough filled with vegan melty cheese & pepperoni! The dipping ranch was perfect! They have a dessert case loaded with vegan cookies, cupcakes & everything you could dream of! Loved their Halloween theme- early in August! Such a fun spot!

Nacho burrito was incredible. Literally everything I've tried here is so tasty. The environment is super fun, and the bakery case is always crammed with so many delicious things.

Being a traveling plant based person is challenging. I was impressed by the atmosphere and quality of this restaurant. I ordered the pizza rolls. They are tasty!

The most brilliant vegan food on earth! The Anti-Warrior Bowl is a conglomeration of cheezy, spicy, crunchy amazingness. The fries? Whatever is in the secret fairy fry dust is massively addictive. And their Dill Sauce...I put that $hit on everything. Take a stab (or 35) at the garlicky Chick'n Caesar Wrap - all I can say is om nom nom. I order regular Friday lunches at work, and the delivered food is consistently top-notch. If you have the pleasure of dining in, the atmosphere is welcoming, boisterous, and a feast for your eyeballs. The team is super friendly, and the aforementioned cuisine is worth every second of the wait as it is freshly prepared with love (which oozes for ALL). What more can I say? Get Hearty Hooligan deliciousness in yer belly!

Had an awesome first visit to The Hearty Hooligan! We went with the recommendations and were glad we did. Loaded Pickle Mac and the Nacho Burrito, then washed it all down with the Iron Duke ale. The atmosphere was very cool, and we enjoyed our conversations with our server. So approachable and welcoming. We'll be back!

Tried for first time yesterday with my wife and son. Really funky atmosphere walking in, as a 80’s baby all the retro stuff really hit nicely. Immediately greeted by the friendly staff and seated right away. He dropped off some menus for us and gave us a moment for deciding on drinks. I went with the signature angry redhead and my wife got wine. The angry redhead was amazing. Ordered Mac and cheese for my kid, and my wife and I split the nachos and dill fries and we got the pepperoni and cheese pizza pockets. Fantastic meal, left with full bellies. Been a while since I felt that the service and food was worth the price. I definitely felt that here.
