The Grill

Today my husband and I, along with my parents drove 3 hours to bring my grandmother to the Grill for lunch. We are all originally from Muskoka/Georgian Bay so had been here before, but the four of us relocated to southern Ontario recently. With my Grandmother in Victoria Harbour and all of us loving the water, this was the perfect spot to bring her for a bite. I cannot say enough incredible things about what happened here today. We brought my grandmother in to celebrate her 95th birthday and the Grill made it so special. They changed the music to play Happy Birthday, and the entire staff came out singing to her with a beautiful dessert. It was such an emotional and heartfelt moment to see how much effort and care they put into celebrating this sweet old lady. The team at the Grill went above and beyond. Kim, thank you so much for your kindness and patience. You are amazing at your job! The food was delicious and the view was fantastic, not to be undermined by the talented team. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We hope to see you for her 96th next year.

Previously wanted to give this a 2 star bc the server was nice but as I’m post coming out of a gas station bathroom having thrown up my food … I can’t. The wings were the most disgusting wings I’ve ever had in my entire life and I’ve eaten at dives all over. Disgustingly breaded, borderline undercooked and caked in the sweetest, grossest “medium sauce” imaginable. Mix that with the gross margarita I got - maybe 0.5oz of tequila added to the sweetest pre mix - and it was the sorriest dining experience I’ve had … and for the price of $42. Was keen to support a local, one-off establishment but what I was served was a slap in the face for my business. Would have been much better off taking my business to any reliable chain.

Just enjoyed a wonderful lunch on the patio right on the water. What a great relaxing lunch in the sun. Service was excellent and even though we all decided to order the same lunch item Spicy Chrispy Chicken Burger and fries, it was excellent. Place was busy which is a good sign. Boats pulling right up to the patio to enjoy lunch. I highly recommend The Grill for lunch. You will not be disappointed.

Such a cute spot on the water! Our group of came here for dinner during August long weekend. We showed up without a reso around 7:30pm. Our hostess, Lauren, was so sweet. There weren’t any tables available for us right away so we just sat on the dock and waited. Lauren was so apologetic about the wait and even took some pics of our group. Everyone really enjoyed their meal, from the burger, to the turkey sandwich, to the steak and eggs. The fries are a MUST. We hope to visit Port Severn every summer and this is absolutely the place we’ll be eating dinner!

We enjoyed our lunch here very much. A beautiful restaurant right on the water. We stopped here for lunch on our way back from six mile lake. So glad we did. We were seated right away and got a spot right beside the water. Beautiful scenery, boats going by and extremely peaceful. Our server was fantastic, the beer was cold and the chicken burger was amazing. All around a fantastic experience. Thank you to the staff for a amazing memory.

Great place to stop in this area. Food (both items very tasty) and drinks (nice and cold) are excellent! Staff were friendly and engaging when only needed too.

Edit: been going here regularly since it re opened. Service has been going downhill unfortunately. Last visit we stood at the hostess stand for exactly 9 minutes watching workers walk by only to ignore us. We left and had a great lunch at the Galley just down the road. The Galley was great!! What a majestic patio. People were bringing their boats here and eating on patio. Our server was Emma, she was really good We went with a three year old and found no problems. We sat both outside and inside and it was equally good for both. The servers are super young but good. Food was decent. You go here more for views.
