The Greek Kitchen

Two words: Quality and Portions! This place was rated so highly I had to check it out and I can see why. Service was great and I loved my meal. Would highly recommend anyone coming here if they want some Greek food (or just good food for that matter).

If I could give 0 stars I would! I just walked in behind a lady who had just unloaded her 4 small children from her car. She placed her order and this guy replied ‘to go’ she said ‘no, for here’ to which he replied, ‘no, you need to take it to go, you’ll make too much mess and other customers are coming. It’s 1:50 on a Tuesday afternoon. This is the most ridiculous customer service I have ever seen. I immediately said ‘you have just lost me as a customer, how dare you tell a lady with 4 small children that they can not eat in your restaurant at the tables you have provided? We all left. You should be ashamed of your treatment of this family. Absolutely awful. Never will I spend a penny in your business.

This is supposed to be a chicken souvlaki pita. What a disaster. Literally tasted like nothing. Way too much toppings and tatziki sauce. The pita is so small. It was basically a bunch of soggy, soupy bland mush. I don’t usually write reviews but this warrants one. Oh, and I spent $60 for 3 pitas and Greek fries 👍

The food was good and the portions were good. But they charged me and my friends 2 dollars each for eating in without letting us know. It wasn't on the reciept or menu which left a bad taste for the restaurant.

I read some reviews on google that don’t match my experience, so I thought I would jump on and leave a good one. I’ve read that the portions don’t match the price, but I highly disagree (based on my experience). I thought “Yikes. Prices are steep.” But when my meal came, I was shocked to see the abundance of chicken on my pita. It was overflowing! Same with the salad that came with it… PACKED! Maybe I picked a good day to come in, because I felt spoiled with how much food I got. I will definitely come back.

I'm all for supporting local, but the prices do not match the quality of food. We ordered chicken souvlaki pita wraps and my wrap had a 2:1 lettuce to chicken ratio. For 15 bucks each wrap, I would expect more meat and fresher ingredients. The chicken was dry and felt old and there was not enough of it. Can't speak for anything else on the menu but based on this, I won't be going back.

Went here yesterday for take-out I wanted to try out this restaurant, and was craving a gyro. The restaurant was pretty busy, the staff was nice and working hard on orders. The restaurant was nice and clean, and comfortable. I ordered a gyro pita, French fries, and a side of gravy. Got a nice portion of French fries, and they were nice and crispy. The gravy tasted pretty good too. The Gyro was packed with meat and tzatziki sauce which was delicious. I'd definitely recommend this establishment if you enjoy Greek food. Great portions, and excellent value for your money!

Holy delicious, and HOLY PORTIONS! This place doesn't mess around with the portions they give you. The food is fantastic, and I love their garlic and hot sauce. Their fattoush salad is incredible because they know not to put so much lemon juice on it. Their gyros are the size of footballs pack with a bunch of flavour. I highly recommend this place.
