Swiss Chalet

I always thought that Swiss Chalet was Heavens waiting room. Only for the elderly with one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel. I was recently treated to a dinner here and was pleasantly surprised. Warm and modern decor with matching warm service . Excellent wait staff here. I had pierogies and the ribs festive dinner, which was enough to choke a horse. Excellent portions and flavour.

I’m not one to post but felt so upset with my visit today at this Swiss Chalet location that I had to share my experience. As a mom of a 2 year old with allergies to dairy, eggs, and peanuts (we carry his epi pen everywhere we go) I always do my due diligence in researching foods my son can have if we go out to eat. Before heading out to Swiss Chalet, I researched their online allergen menu and found a few items that were suitable for my son (no allergens listed). My sister and I brought my two boys (2 and 5) to the restaurant and were seated. I had informed our waitress that my son was allergic to dairy, eggs, and peanuts and had explained that I checked their website to find a few potential options that he could have. Before placing an order for my two year old, with allergies, I had asked if they could just double check whether the allergens were in the food I was about to order. The waitress went to the kitchen and returned to our table to provide us with an answer. The waitress explained, and I quote, “sorry our manager is too busy to check.” At this point I actually couldn’t even believe what I had heard and was so disgusted with that response that we picked up and left. It is very sad to see that allergies are not taken into consideration and I will never return to this location again. I will also be sure to share my disgraceful experience with my family and friends. Very very disappointed. Wish I could give them 0 stars.

We have been going to the Swiss Chalet in Hamilton On.since the early seventies.What does that tell you?They do not need an introduction .The new location on Rymal RD is really nice the service is great .We usually go there for the two can dine Tuesdays and for sure the festive special.

Such a great experience coming in with the family for the festive meal and such a wonderful surprise at how gorgeous the restaurant was decorated! I heard that the hard working manager Vanessa was the creative decorator with the help from the Swiss chalet elves! Now how amazing is this store! Truly the best place and one of the best dinners still today, take the time this season to see this Christmas joy! Great job!

Mary was amazing and very pleasant. She seems to be really enjoying what she’s doing. Excellent customer service. The food is delicious. Love the ambiance too. We will definitely come back.

Just went with the breast with stuffing and cranberry sauce making up for not being home for thanks giving. It's funny to see that they're using robots to bring the food out, makes it safer for the staff that they're not carrying hot food plates. Food was good service was great was surprised that I went to the bathroom and my glass was cleared away in no time waitress came back and thought I left already.

Swiss Chalet is a great choice for a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience. The tasty food and exceptional service provided by my server (Christen) made it a place worth visiting again and again. The service at Swiss Chalet is top-notch, my server Christen went above and beyond to make my dining experience memorable. She was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent recommendations. She made sure i had everything I needed and made me feel welcomed throughout my meal.
