The Fry

I ordered for pick up, it's freezing cold out and decided to eat at empty table. It wasn't busy so I sat down wanting eat a bit but kicked me out because it wasn't dine in. Now I'm force to walk back to work and eat frozen chicken. The employees need to be more considerate, they even use a empty table to leave their pick up orders on. I guess customers are less important to them.

Food is okay, I go here since it's a 10 minute drive. I always tip 10% but this time when I went with two people the owner put a 35% tip in without asking us & expected us to pay, when we asked why the tip was put in for us they would not budge or change it. Never coming here again. This is outrageous.

Their chicken wings are delicious with right amount of sauce. Totally meet my expectations of Korean fried chicken. Come in with nice packaging and free radish side dish + free coke. But it seems we have to buy the sauce separately for the gimmari fries.

Been to the Bloor location twice so tried the Mississauga version yesterday. The service was a bit slow because there was just one person, plus I felt like the ordering process was very rushed? I was stressed out just think about what I should be eating. The food was great and on point, not taking anything away from this. 🕺 I read the other reviews about being asked for a tip or else the server recommends you get takeout. I noticed I was being stared at while I was paying and I think I now know why.

Dined here and had the half & half chicken and the cheese corn. The food was decent and enjoyable but the service was abysmal. Not once did our waitress check in on on us after serving. I didn’t like how she constantly wore blue cleaning gloves when serving and when clearing tables, as they didn’t seem to be changed. It also didn’t seem very sanitary when she came around with a can of soda with an unwrapped straw wedged into the tab I paid and didn’t think the service warranted a gratuity. She gestured at the bill and said it doesn’t include a tip. She said to get takeout next time if I don’t want to tip. The service wasn’t good at all, I don’t appreciate being chastised and bullied for a tip that was undeserved.

Just amazing! Our favorites food off their menu is the half and half (spicy sauce and fried chicken) as well as their cheesy chicken and garlic butter fries!!! Everytime we order they never disappoint. Quality of the food is great, it always taste fresh and crispy plus they are super friendly here. Highly recommended!

This place is really nice and definitely worth a try if you're a fan or Korean food or fried chicken. My girlfriend introduced me to The Fry last summer and we've gone to the Toronto location many times. We always come for their fried chicken which tastes amazing. One serving of their chicken is good enough for two people. We got their regular chicken and their spicy chicken as well as their cheese fries. The atmosphere and interior was really nice as well as the service. Would really recommend 5/5.

This place is worth trying out if you're tired of Western fried chicken. This Korean joint offers a new kind of tasty fried chicken. It's fairly small (I counted about 7 tables) so there might be a wait. However, the staff is very friendly and inviting. The food is exceptional, offering new flavours. The fries had a sweetness to them that was very enjoyable and different. The fried chicken was also wonderfully appetizing. Their main flavours are spicy and soy & garlic. Both options are delicious and worth a try, if you can handle spice. If not, their 'original' option is just the plain chicken. I mistook it to be an original sauce, but hopefully you don't make that mistake. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I will definitely be back.
