WOW what a Hidden gem 💎 Me and my husband were looking for a new restaurant to try and we are so glad we found this place. It is everything you would want for a romantic date night. The restaurant is very clean, elegant and has a mature vibe. The food portions are great, we left very full. Everyone who works here is very friendly, our server was awesome we are so glad she told us about the cocktails -we had the pineapple mojito, highly recommend! Warm bread was served with butter. We had fresh oysters, the chefs plate which is a must! and the tenderloin tips for our appetizers. For our mains we had the rack of lamb and squid ink pasta with oyster, shrimp, and muscles. Everything was cooked to perfection, fresh pasta, plate presentation was beautiful on everything served. For dessert we had the crème brûlée, and raspberry ganache with a latte and cappuccino. Everything exceeded our expectations. I will be raving about this restaurant to everyone i know. These are very skilled chefs. For anyone complaining about prices - for the two of us it was a little over $300 which is exactly what you would expect at a fine dining establishment.. just take a look at the pictures. Id like to add that we did appreciate that our dinner was not rushed like most restaurants, so yes food does not come out as quickly as a chain restaurant which allowed us to really enjoy our night and be in the moment. The crazy fox bistro is doing everything right, do not hesitate to make your dinner reservation here :)

Excellent quality and portion size. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Great high quality dining in Barrie. Highly recommend the Chef's sharing platter and the tuna for a starters and the pickerel or maple pecan chicken for mains!

Very fine dining type atmosphere. They play jazz, which is nice and relaxing. We ordered for lunch, chicken wraps with fries,and they were delicious. I had a craft beer, which was comparable to Bud light,while my wife just had some water. The price of the beer was a little overpriced,while the meal was what we expected. Nice place for a date,meeting friends or even business meetings.

I like coming here for family dinners. We sit up top on the balcony. It’s a good spot for date nights and business meetings too. There was a wedding group here too the night we came! They always have good specials and food presentation is on point. I like how you can see the chef and know the kitchen isn’t unclean or a disaster. The evening wait staff are super kind and always accommodating and patient with kids. I understand it’s more of a fine dining ambiance but the food takes a while to come out and people get restless. That’s not a reason to not come back though!

The team provided a very special 102nd birthday lunch for my father. The staff were excellent and every dish was exceptional. We will definitely be back!!! Other dishes we would recommend are brocoli soup, shrimp bang bang and crab dip as appetizers, and steak frites, pecan crusted chicken, and quiche for main course. Creme brulee, apple cake, and chocolate dessert were excellent desserts. Such a great experience for everyone.

I am from out of town and this was hands down an amazing experience in terms of food, service and ambiance. The hostess from the time I made reservations on the phone was so pleasant as well in person. Our server was a very professional lady. The chef was deserves accolades. The food was phenomenal. I ate the Pecan encrusted stuffed chicken breast - the sauce he drizzles the hot plate with was so delicious. The salmon was cooked to perfection as well. We will definitely visit this gem again. It is worth the drive out to Barrie.

The Crazy Fox Bistro is a charming gem. The food is truly exceptional, boasting delicious flavors in every dish. Coupled with great service, the experience was truly memorable. Additionally, the prices were reasonable, making it a fantastic dining experience.

Very nice fine dining experience on a Thursday evening. The food was delicious and the servings were the right amount for me. Our server was great and was able to accommodate our requests. I believe they were slightly understaffed as our server was also doing the job of the host and the food took a little while to arrive. The doneness on the lamb I ordered was medium but as you can see by the photo it was a little under. Still, everything tasted great and it was a very good evening out. I look forward to being back.
