Dear Carriage House, We (Mario and Mariya) would like to express our deepest gratitude for being part of one of the most significant days of our lives - our wedding. We are looking forward to celebrating many more special occasions at your restaurant. You fulfilled all our dreams - from the stunning views and convenient location near our hometown to the warm, family-oriented atmosphere and exceptional service. From the moment we inquired about hosting a small wedding for 31 people, the staff and management went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Before our wedding, we visited for our anniversary celebration and were impressed by how well you knew your customers. You greeted them at the door and created a wonderful experience for everyone. A special thank you to the manager, Franz, who treated us exceptionally well. From being responsive and accommodating irregular hours to show us the space, to coordinating over the phone and providing solutions to all our questions, Franz's dedication was remarkable. While we didn't go through with everything we initially planned, such as having a ceremony and bringing in the arch, we appreciated your willingness to accommodate every request we made. We also want to extend a huge thank you to all the staff who hosted us at irregular hours and created a wonderful atmosphere. We cannot speak highly enough about the exceptional experience we had. We also appreciated the perfectly timed service to accommodate the games. Feedback from our guests indicated that our wedding was one of the best they had experienced. A very nice high end restaurant located in downtown Burlington near the water. I really enjoy the exterior of the building and how quaint it is. Overall enjoyed my dinner experience, service was very friendly. Highlights would be the seared foie gras and steak. However, I found the branzino itself was overpowered by the sauce and a hair was found in my rice. The server immediately had the kitchen make us a new one.

Continued celebration of my son’s 10th Birthday! This restaurant deserves a 10STAR really really great food, and superb service! Atmosphere could be a bit more private, however, it’s not a game changer. We talked with everyone around us and had some good laughs! Our waiter Deeter is the the best in town!

We had an outstanding experience at The Carriage House. We ordered the Dover Sole and Pickerel with beautifully cooked vegetables and potatoes. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was intimate. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious meal! With perfect service! Staff very kind and professional. My Lamb chop meal was the best I have ever had. The only issue was is the noise level. You can hear everything what people are saying at the table beside you. Also, lighting is lacking ambiance. But the food makes up for it!

Beautiful place for an anniversary date. We had the best meals and the atmosphere was very romantic. Started off with escargot and our main was salmon and steak. The portions are decent size and dessert was the cherry on top! Great selection of wine too!

Such a treat to find a gem off the beaten path. Chef is doing a great job of balancing classics with personal touches. The herb infused butter for the escargots, for example, elevates this classic appetizer. We debated the duck confit or the roasted Cornish hen. The Cornish hen was fabulous. Too many wine lists in this region inexplicably exclude the many excellent Ontario wines. Carriage House proudly offers several good choices. Excellent food expertly prepared and cheerfully served... you will not be disappointed.
