The noodles were okay and ordered the lamb skew, it was not bbq skew but rather a deep fried skew… the noodle soup was okay but a bit on oily side.

Such a cute and comfy atmosphere! We ordered the scallions noodle, veggie fried noodle, and shrimp fried noodle. The food was alright, but it tasted a little bland. Prices were really fair.

We opted for the Szechuan base with ramen noodles and chicken cutlets, and I was particularly impressed with the balance of spicy flavors. The heat was just right—enough to give a kick but not so overwhelming that it left me uncomfortable. The spice brought out the flavors rather than masking them, which can be a challenge with such dishes. The chicken cutlets were deliciously crispy on the outside, yet tender and juicy on the inside, creating a satisfying contrast in texture. Additionally, we tried the satay-flavored broth with udon noodles and chicken cutlets. The satay was rich and creamy, with the subtle softness of the peanut butter base offering a comforting warmth. The creaminess worked perfectly with the thick udon noodles, creating a dish that would be an ideal comfort food, especially if you’re feeling under the weather. It had that soothing quality that can lift your spirits on a tough day. The restaurant is conveniently located on Hamilton’s main street, just a short distance from McMaster University, making it an ideal spot for students or those in the area. The ambiance inside is warm and inviting, offering a cozy atmosphere that complements the hearty, comforting dishes on the menu. It’s definitely a spot I’d return to, especially on days when I’m craving something both flavorful and comforting.

The restaurant is located in a busy place in really close proximity to McMaster. So it has the regular customer base. It’s a simple restaurant serving decent food. I’d rate it 3.5/5

food was tasty in our opinion during experience. the fried spiced meat was moist and crispy. fried tofu reminded me of asia. soup noodles were good. service was friendly and accommodating. noticed some cob webs by the wall and ceiling area by the end of the meal though but overall clean and comfortable (including bathroom)

We ordered $47 of items from the menu today. What a disappointment. It was my birthday and really wanted to try it out. But my fish sticks and pork cutlets were dry and over cooked. Ramen was bland and had no taste. I actually wondered if my food came off the floor. I could see the waiters hiding and they kept looking at us and laughing. I will never go here again. After the horrible food. Save your money!
