Tempus Restaurant Welland

Walking through the door and immediately you feel a change in the atmosphere. The decor is warm and inviting. We were new to this newly acquired restaurant for late lunch and asked the server about it's specialty dishes. The owner, Juliano, came out and shared his story of existence and offered dishes and pairings with wine (not on the menu in front of us). We ordered and enjoyed food that was so tasty, well marinated and soft to the palette. My husband ordered the sea bass and shared a bite or 2 to me. I don't like fish and never order it. I always try a bite. This time I couldn't believe that it tasted non-fishy! It was good! We were there less than 2 hours, enjoyed the beautiful canal front view complete with the lift bridge and left feeling good. We will definitely come back. Thank you!

We were looking to celebrate a milestone on a picturesque afternoon downtown Welland and were delighted to find Tempus. A beautiful and relaxing environment in a classy, yet casual and cozy atmosphere right next to the scenic Welland canal. We got to meet the owner and chef, Julian and were quite intrigued with his story. The food did not disappoint, the best sea bass dish I've ever had, matched with a marvelous Chardonnay recommended by Julian. Excellent service and decently priced, would certainly recommend this gem.

What a wonderful gem in the heart of Welland. An amazing atmosphere located right next to the canal which makes it so special. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner served by a very personable server, Tino. Thank you a wonderful experience Tino! It was a great experience for our first time in this newly refurbished and newly managed restaurant. The price points are extremely reasonable and the selections are for every discretional palette, so there is something for everyone! We had the pleasure of speaking to the owner Julian and so happy for him and his team and seeing his concept come into fruition. We will definitely come back real soon! Thanks for a great evening!

Came here for a birthday dinner and it was wonderful. Justin, our server, was great. He was attentive and very friendly. The food was delicious and the wait time wasn't long. We sat on the patio. It was 5:30pm the sun which means that the sun was on the west side of the building which left us with shade and a nice breeze. Will definitely be going back!

My recent dining experience Tempus lived up to the hype, making it deserving of a perfect 5-star rating! The service was prompt and attentive with very friendly & knowledgeable staff. The cuisine was great, made with fresh ingredients and presented exquisitely. We ordered the calamari and gorgeous salad to start (not pictured), mushroom risotto and Chilean sea bass as mains, then ending with the duo crème brûlée for dessert. Great flavours with every bite. Overall, Tempus delivered not just a meal but an exceptional experience. The view of the illuminated Welland Main Street bridge at night was a nice touch as well (located right beside the restaurant). Looking forward to coming back again soon

Enjoyed a fabulous dinner tonight. Tempus was amazing. Our first time there and we will definitely be back. The food was outstanding. Our server Justin was phenomenal. And chef Julian not only welcomed us to the restaurant but came out to make sure we enjoyed our food. Absolutely outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant

Our party of four had a wonderful afternoon at Tempus! The staff were friendly, confident and accommodating to our dietary restrictions. I ordered one of the long weekend specials: a brisket and old cheddar pizza (yum), and the rest of the menu was just as unique/delicious. The food and drinks arrived promptly. The new owners have done a great job with creating a modern, sleek aesthetic while maintaining aspects of the previous space. Great for pictures! I would recommend Tempus to anyone living/visiting Welland and we look forward to visiting the beautiful patio again soon :)

We arrived down to look at a house and heard about a new restaurant to try. We arrived to find a clean and ambient atmosphere. It felt so serene to enjoy the interior and I'm looking forward to trying the patio with my wife next time. I want to try more of their menu for next time! Check out my photos for the beautiful view.
