Been eating here, on occasion, for over 40 years. They're still making a damn fine roast beef sandwich. Quick and pleasant service. Yeah, the interior is dated, but you're not going there for ambiance.

TallyHo was such a treat growing up, and still is. Sure, the building looks nearly the exact same as 25+years ago when I first remember coming, but the food is quick, cheap, and tasty. Never left disappointed. The brown THICK gravy is where it's at.

Was a little hesitant as the joint looks run down, but man am I glad I went. The prices are super good which is refreshing in a horrible economy (burger 6.95, combo 11.95 (with drink). The burger was delicious, very flavourful, old school style burger (think Sonny's). Fries were great, not very salty but that's how I like em. Great food. Good service. Hope this place stays alive and busy for years to come.

Family members love the roast beef sandwiches but I personally find them bland with no flavour. The fries are perfectly cooked but no salt? Gravy was very thick and was ok. The cheeseburger was good with assorted toppings. The staff was very friendly and helpful but the restaurant needs some tlc and a good cleaning, as the tables were dirty and garbages full. All prices were reasonable for the amount and quality of food you receive.

The restaurant is definitely old and could use some love as it looks worn down but the sandwiches were delicious. The roast beef had so much flavour and not sloppy at all. The chicken sandwich was perfectly fried and juicy. The gravy is a must! Make sure u order some with the fries. Definitely a must try if you are in the mood for some comfort food. Super friendly staff and large parking

If you’re a fan of flavour, you won’t be a fan of Tally Ho. Walking in there, it was silent and empty. And for good reason. The beef sandwich tasted like canned gravy. I think my cat would enjoy it though. When I expected a savoury roast beef sandwich, I was met with nothing of the sort. The bun was a bit soggy but that was inevitable considering that it was wrapped in foil to go. Fries? Unsalted but it was perfectly crisp. Service was not memorable.

Made a trip out to Tally Ho last week from Oakville with a brother who lives in the Hammer. Wow! Amazing roast beef on a bun piled high with lots of delicious gravy, onion rings were excellent as well. Will definitely return again and soon. Love the old school places like this, like going back in time.
