Ordered for takeout. Messed up our order twice the very first time I went: 1) they handed us the wrong order and told us it was ours (no big deal) 2) They didn’t include shawarma in our chicken shawarma. Big mess up. I hate leaving bad reviews but here’s why I did it. I called in to see what could be done and the manager said to come in and they’d give us a free wrap next time… lol. We ordered much more than a wrap (several shawarma plates) so to give us a wrap was… I like this franchise, but this specific location is probably best to be avoided.

Ordered a large butter chicken bowl but there was hardly any meat in it. They were mostly crumbly, tiny pieces of chicken. Overall, it didn't have a enough butter chicken taste because the ratio was so off compared to the rice portion. It was pretty disappointing, and I would rather go to the Richmond Hill location as they give generous portion of all ingredients.

Great stuff, washroom was well designed but minor inconveniences. 7/10 washroom rating. Nice staff, although their student discount is only for high school students that’s fine (college students are more broke than high school students but that’s okay) very good food, made it in front of me, excellent quality. Very nice. My friend brought me here, I’ll be coming back whenever I get money on my hands again as the prices are decent. Please give me the free samosas for my review. :) 10/10 overall service will come again very nice best in the east.

Came on Friday after 5pm and asked for 3 plates with rice but was told rice will take 15 min to make so I changed my order to 3 wraps and a plate of salad with chicken. Turns out chicken wasn’t ready also so had to wait for it and rice was actually then ready before the chicken. The main issue is that there were a number of orders now waiting for chicken and when it was finally ready there wasn’t enough for the waiting orders and impatient customers so they spread minimum amount of chicken in my wraps so there’s enough for everyone. Have a look at the photos - thinnest wraps with barely any meat. Taste is great and wraps have a nice chewy texture to it, just wish I tasted more of chicken in it.

I usually go to the Richmond Hill location, but I happened to be in the area and wanted something to eat so I went here. The atmosphere is a lot more cramped compared to the Richmond Hill area, but usually, it’s a take out restaurant so that’s not a big deal. Service is great, I was served by a woman named Manila. Very warm and friendly. As for the food, same decent quality across all locations. I so liked that they have hot sauce at this location. Healthy, fast, and easy place. Much healthier option to eat from compared to a pizza place or popeyes.

I had high hopes for Tahini’s Shawarma based on the name and reviews, but my experience was extremely disappointing. They claim to offer shawarma, but honestly, the majority of my meal was just fries. I expected a substantial amount of flavorful shawarma, but instead, I got a small, almost laughable portion buried under a mountain of fries. It felt like a filler to make the plate look full, but the main attraction—the shawarma itself—was lacking in both quantity and quality. For the price, I expected so much more. If you’re looking for a real shawarma experience, this isn’t the place. You’re mostly paying for fries with a tiny amount of meat as a side.
