Went in few weeks ago and service was non-existent. Thought it was just an off day for them so I went back to give this location another chance and it was the exact same experience. The restaurant was pretty empty, lots of staff around, but the staff put more effort into disappearing and avoiding customers than they did with serving them. Took an hour to get our meals. Portions for sides are much smaller than other Swiss Chalet locations. Chicken was super dry and rubbery. Ribs were cold. In the future will drive a bit further to go to a better location.

Drove from Toronto to Newmarket to eat at this Swiss Chalet because everything here is perfect! Our waitress was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable even though she was extremely busy with many tables and helping take out - and the food was fantastic! The rotisserie chicken here is the best! Worth the drive!

Went for the Festive Special and was served by Francine, who was friendly, personable, prompt and very nice. The other waitress was great too. It makes me laugh when people criticize their food. It’s been a chicken (and rib) place for years and it is what it is. Good, inexpensive food in an easy going atmosphere.

Lovely afternoon lunch with family. Our server Amanda was amazing. Very attentive and friendly. Feel bad as she was so busy. Only server working on a Saturday afternoon. Poor girl was on a steady run. Thanks for the great service!

Great Swiss Chalet, and one of the best I've been to. I hadn't been to this location in Newmarket yet, mainly the other spot near Green Lane. But I was more than pleasantly surprised when my wife and I recently went here. We both ordered the Festive Special, and everything was great, food, service & staff. Our orders came very fast and the food was great tasting and piping hot. The staff was very friendly, and attentive...our server Sam was great at his job and couldn't have done better. 5 star rating from me, highly recommended place to go!

ordered the Wing Dinner from Swiss Chalet and was very disappointed with the portion size, especially considering the price I paid. To make matters worse, when I contacted the location to share my concerns, the interaction with the staff member who answered the phone was even more disappointing than the meal itself. It’s clear that customer service is not a priority at this location. If you’re looking for value for your money, I would recommend ordering elsewhere.

Meat was good, but French fries was extra dry, I guess they was cooked yesterday. Because I can say it was not fries but chips. It was 11:00 am so they just open.

Second time being to this location, always seems to be pretty good. My daughter loves the robot that delivers the food. I had the same waitress twice. She did a fantastic job. If I had a suggestion, make sure you haven't ran out of the cheese bread and the Caesar salad. The fries on the menu are the cheapest thing for a restaurant to purchase and serve. Make sure that the fries are full and don't be a cheapskate on them. Other than that, overall great experience
