Swiss Chalet

I came here for a girl's night with my family and my friend. Everything was going well and our main courses arrived. My cousin noticed her fry looked funny, so we took a closer look and noticed legs and sure enough, it was a fried cockroach stuck to her fry. Unfortunately, we were only offered a remake and frankly, I don't want my food remade at a place that has roaches. We were all looking forward to eating here but lost our appetite. I love Swiss Chalet but I really hope they get this issue resolved. It was an unpleasant experience and we left with empty stomachs.

Always loved SC even as a kid. Very consistent. Still go couple of times a month. Also my server Kristine at the Queenston Rd location in Hamilton keeps me coming back. So friendly, so happy she is a great person to have on staff! Keep up the good work Kristine! (Sry my review is a little late)

Kristine! What a fantastic server, extremely friendly, well-spoken, and hospitable. She made our party of 20 feel welcomed and cared for throughout the service. I recommend her training servers in the future, coming from the same industry, I love recognizing and acknowledging hard working servers who deserve the credit. I’m sure other coworkers could learn a thing or two from someone like her. Thank you Kristine for a wonderful lunch! Hope to see you again soon!

Can we say delicious food and fantastic service every time? Especially when served by Maria. She has been at this Queenston location for as long as we can remember. Each time we come into this locations, she makes us feel like valued family members. We couldn’t imagine not seeing her great smile and friendly service every time we visit. Thank you for the great great service and delicious food! Our favourite location and favourite server!!!!!!

My brother and I were here a few times. The meals we ordered were good. The waitresses who serve us did a very good job. It gets very busy on the weekend and special holidays. They always keep the tables clean, floor, and the rest of the area. When we come in at the front door, we have to wait for the hostess to ask how many of us, and then she grabs the menus and follows her to our table. Sometimes, we had to wait 10 minutes or less in the waiting area. It has bench seats and chairs to sit down next to the front door. They do have Washrooms with Wheelchair Accessible Entrances. They do have free parking with Wheelchair Accessible Parking Lots. Last Monday, I ordered half a rack of ribs with mashed potatoes with gravy. My brother ordered a full rack of ribs with french fries with gravy.

Went there today as I was craving The Chalet for a while. Decided to goto this one today on Queenston Rd in Hamilton. I wish I had went to a roti place instead. When I walked into the takeout area it was not to busy but the girl gave a ladies order to a different person then panicked and took the food back after she ran into the parking lotto retreave order. Then proceeded to give the food back to the back of the house I guess to make it look pretty and not sure what that final outcome was as my order came up. I ordered a 1/2 chicken dinner with mashed potatoes. My order came up quickly and now I know why it came up quickly. I drove to a park to eat my dinner and when I opened it up the thigh was well under cooked as it was still red on the back side and it still had red veins. The breast was not much better as the skin was rubbery and the meat still had a red Hugh to it. I was to far to take it back and I picked out a little.bit of the meat that was cooked as I was very hungry. The best part was the gravy and mashed potatoe. I guess you don't need to be a good cook to make potatoes, and I guess they where out of good cooks to provide me with a cooked chicken. My word to everyone is don't go to Swiss Chalet at 5pm cause your chicken will still cluck and maybe wink at you. I am not bitter that I spent $22.00 to have a meal that I tossed in the garbage that maybe the raccoons won't even eat. Just dissapointed as I was craving that good old fashioned chicken meal that used to be good. Maybe ther are still good ones out there but this one is a thumbs down. Buyer beware. I have given a lot of food reviews so I hope that you see my review as it is. The truth.

A special shoutout to our waitress, Maya, whose dedication to her work and the environment always makes our dining experience even better. Another perk of visiting this Swiss Chalet is the CAA membership benefit. Showing your card gets you a free piece of pie! My favorite is the coconut cream, which is always a delightful end to our meal. Overall, this Swiss Chalet location has never let us down, and we look forward to many more enjoyable visits.

Maria took great care of me! She happily brought me extra sauce and refilled my pop. My food was fresh; the salad was appropriately cold, and my chicken dinner appropriately hot! Delicious! Now, will i have room for dessert... 🤔 Maybe I'll take some to go 😁
